The home of Greece's First Governor/Prime Minister and distinguished Corfiote with great European credentials as a diplomat and political figure. He was maybe too advanced for the rest of the then Greeks who assassinated him thus keeping the country in continuous darkness! ΜΕΣΑ ΣΤΗΝ ΦΥΣΗ Loved it. Small but essential. You can use the app to listen to the information about each exhibit. Definitely a must for history lovers. The actual was Kapodistrias summer home. It's only a short distance by car from the capital of island. A modern museum, houses on a magnificent estate in the heart of Corfu, ideal for a picnic! The artifacts underline a very intense and important part of Greek history, introducing the importance of Ioannis Kapodistrias and parts of his more personal side. The staff was super-friendly and accommodating and so was the mobile app guide ! Great located in beautiful surrundings. Great walk through Capodistria's life and achievements. Very good audio tour. Delicious food and drinks served in the garden cafe too. Very interesting information about the beginning of rhe Greek Nation. Such a lovely with a helpful audio guide and pretty grounds Very beautiful café on the area. 😍 And interesting small museum. A charming and fascinating small set up in the mountains. Capodistrias was an incredible man and his history is very interesting. The house and its grounds are lovely and there is a brilliant little coffee shop with delicious drinks. Nice with a great garden that shouldn't be missed. I wish there were more items to see. A small but full of details about the great Ioanis Capodistrias. Here you learn lots of information about his life and can see some of his personal items. Ότι καλύτερο στο νησί μας ,η Διεύθυνση εξαιρετική έτοιμη πάντα να σας κατατοπίσει It is nice small with lots of information about Kapodistrias. Most of it is about his political engagements, but also some family details are shared. We also liked the shady garden. Sadly a lot of garden was closed for visitors when we came. Absolut lohnenswert für Geschichtsinteressierte. Eine kleine nette Villa auf dem Hügel über Potamos. A wonderful place with great energy and tranquility! Fantastic also for a coffee under the pines You can have free wifi and acces to an audio guide in all rooms. Very interesting life and political career. I liked the personal and the family related items the most. Beautiful garden and a quiet place for a coffee. If you don't want to visit the exhibiton in the house itself, the entrance is free. Lovely in Kapodistrias’s old family estate. The displays give a great picture of his personal and public life, not only as Greece’s first Governor but also for what he did abroad, like helping shape Switzerland’s federal system and neutrality. The gardens are stunning with amazing panoramic view, and the café is a perfect place to relax. Friendly staff, audio guides, and a calm atmosphere make it a really special stop in Corfu. ❤️ Beautiful place to visit. The is very organised, and has a lot of details & artifacts on Kapodistrias life and work. Bring your own headphones to use the app, or you can rent guides at the lobby.
