Solstrand camping SA

The personnel was very kind and supportive. I was a single adult and my room had a bunk bed (two births, upper and lower) and a sink for washing the race. The toilet and showers were in the hall and shated with the other guests in the hall. Everything was very clean and nice. What makes me question if I want to return was the kids running around, loud voices and doors slamming every minute until 01:30 in the morning. Sure, it was cheap and it was a sort of but I would still expect more consideration among the guests. Solstrand Camping. Pleasant staff (Marcus shines out as a diplomat) and reasonably clean - bearing in mind the sheer numbers of people. However, it was a pity that the site was too, too crowded by far. It would be better if campers (including those with a reputation involving beach towels and sun loungers) were obliged to stay in their allocated places rather than parking freestyle - sometimes blocking those who do keep to the rules. Delightful, happy, laughing children provide endless entertainment. Very nice place, the view is pretty and its great for kids. You have a little shop and a little buffet in the evening. Showers and toilets were clean and okay, sometimes you needed to wait a little bit at the usual times. You can get fresh water and electricity and also prebook your spot online! Nice grounds with good wifi. Not much to do at the ground but very peaceful. Staff were friendly. The site has a charging station for electric cars which is a huge bonus. It's a shame it's obviously a very south Norwegian christian grounds write they seem to have Bible camps and stuff like that. Interestingly enough elderly people get a discount but disabled people do not get any discounts. A lovely in beautiful surroundings. Very clean toilets and cabins. The cabins equipped well with kitchenware, and beds and pillows. Everything was quite new. For kids there is a playground with a giga jumping pillow, minigolf and canoeing (Amazonia river is a must to try :) We have been here several times, and will come back for more! Places a bit cramped, barely enough toilets and showers, just one sink for washing dishes for the whole campsite. It's a christian campsite and you can't drink beer. That would be okay, but unfortunately, some Jesus loving convention starts playing with a band after 10 p.m. at night and keeps the whole 'family friendly' campsite awake for more than an hour with loud music and most obnoxious base drumming. A really bad experience with a small child. On a side note, you can't fish from the shore without the state Fiskerafgift for salmon and a fishing license for 130NOK/day for Audna Sone 1 (and it's the worst part of the worst zone on an otherwise good salmon river).
