We got a warm welcome and a tasting here. There are infact several interesting wines. I think, everybody can find something here. The Chateau itself looks like a relaxed country side place. There are Apartment els to rent. We received a fantastic tasting of their and also had an amazing picnic in the front courtyard that was organised by our tour organisers. This is a gorgeous building and the team that work here make amazing wines. We adore Chateau Roquette. It is in walking distance from our house and never miss and oportunity for a visit and purchase some wine. Enjoy the stroll around the property to really savour the Mediterranean countryside. My wife and I stayed with Ch. Roquette for about a week over the Christmas holidays a few years ago. It was a wonderful experience. The gite was and Ch. Requested gave us a wonderful pied pa terre from which to explore that corner of France. The range of their are and the market in Narbonne, leading-up to Christmas was a treat. Definitely Italy tecommend their and their accommodations. We’ve visited the lovely Château Rouquette-sur-Mer three times during our two week holiday in Narbonne Plage this August. The first visit was great, where we’ve enjoyed a diverse tasting guided by Mme. M. Liotard. She had a lot of knowledge to share about the different and grapes, plus was genuinely interested in us. After explaining how we’d learn about this domaine, we had the honor of meeting Mr. Boscary himself. We left inspired, 13 bottles and a typical French “cubi” with rosé richer. And we couldn’t resist purchasing their price winning “L’absolu” as a special souvenir. Our second visit was the next day, when we joined the guided walk through the vineyards in the morning, Mme. Liotard being our host again. We were surprised by the domain, the ancient château, the history and the beauty of the many diverse vineyards. Several grounds and grapes were seen in the impressive Massif de la Clape, a rich and green natural zone right behind the beach. The views were unbelievably beautiful. The sight of the grapes and the elaboration on the conditions really gave another dimension to the bought the previous day. After the tour of about an hour and a half, we had another tasting, now combined with six delicious bites, to show the multitude of tastes and tones of three wines. Another visit it was, in a small group with a nice vibe in the gorgeous nature. Then for the third visit, we came a week later, as our “cubi” was already empty and we wished to return to the Netherlands with a full one. As soon as we came in, we were recognized and we received a digital group picture taken during the guided tour. The “cubi” was this time filled with their red wine, and we really enjoyed the first glasses this evening. We would like to thank Mme. Liotard for her kind personality, warm welcome and generously shared knowledge, as we’ve learned a lot! We would definitely recommend visiting the château and domaine, as it is a 5 star experience!
