Looked clean and had life guards on watch, which is always good. Had various sculptures, exercise stations and play areas dotted along it. Had a great evening for the Hastings fireworks. Learnt a bit of History too. Very pleasant evening out. Well planned event and the Bonfire and fireworks were awesome. Went there on a day trip from London, (easy train ride from London Bridge Station) got there around 10ish, pleasant walk through the city centre, got a nice spot at the to relax, enjoyed the sunny weather just chilling with friends. By lunch time we got some Fish & Chips from local restaurant (heaps of options to choose from), went on occasional walks to explore the (it's a fishing beach, which means lots of boats and fishing equipment along the beach). It's windy and no sand, just pebbles, which is fine, had a lovely day there and totally recommend to anyone who wants to connect with the ocean and just relax with a nice view. Lovely place to visit and spend some time.. Great for walks and jogging Nice place to visit with your friends especially in summer the view is outstanding in hasting Hastings is a perfect destination for a fun and relaxing day by the sea! The highlight of the visit is definitely the chair lift—a must-try experience that takes you up to the stunning hill park. Once at the top, take some time to walk around, enjoy the fresh air, and soak in the breathtaking views of the coastline. A trip to Hastings wouldn’t be complete without trying the famous chips in Old Town—crispy, delicious, and full of flavor! Another must-do is the miniature train ride, which is a showstopper, especially for families and kids. It’s a charming way to explore the area and adds a nostalgic touch to the visit. For those looking for a bit of thrill, go-karting is an optional but exciting activity to try. And of course, seafood lovers will be in paradise, as fresh seafood is available everywhere, from traditional fish and chips to delicious oysters and grilled fish. Whether you’re after scenic views, great food, or fun activities, Hastings has something for everyone. Highly recommended for a day trip or a weekend getaway!
