Had a really good experience with this shop. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, competent workshop and a speedy turnaround. On one occasion they set up a wheelset (pictured) for me tubeless in a morning so I didn’t have to come back into the shop again. My Trek Rail e-bike stopped working for the first time! I took it to Lewis Cycle shack because I had heard good things and didn’t want to cut corners as the was an expensive purchase. My was kept in for a week. They advised I needed a level 2 and new Bosch Motor covered under Warranty. They carried out extensive work to my bike, and I got the back two days early. All appears to be working and rides tight like brand new! Staff are very friendly and I’m very pleased with the I received on my pride and joy. When visiting a shop you hope that staff are interested in your and want to help in ensuring it is up to standard with maintenance and overall health. I feel that customer relations was very strong in this department I feel I can bring my back here in the future. Cheers, Harvey Excellent service! I take my son's in on a regular basis and always get prompt service. Great value too! Took my in for repair/service (pre-booked) and the man there could not have been less interested in my custom. Sullen and on the edge of rude. I left and will not return. The worst customer I have experienced for quite some time. Double puncture just north of Lewes and only had one gas cannister with me... Walked to the shop for some air and to put a new inner tube in. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, happy to loan me a pump and took time out from current job to help me get a uncooperative tyre back over the rim. Friendly and clearly know their way around bikes, will head back for a when the time comes. Matt is a wealth of information, extremely helpful ,nothing is too much trouble. definatly reccomend the Shack LEWES for anyone needing help to by a Helpful friendly local shop. Got the parts I needed quickly and at a good price. Would use again. I was absolutely chuffed two weeks ago when my chain snapped cycling up the hill past the station in lewes. I was completely stuck. I went into Cycle Shack when I met Miles and he fixed up my and had me going again and the is riding better than ever. It’s the grey Trek Procaliber 9.5. Used to be very happy with this- now a dismissive, arrogant manager (is it a ladies problem?!) not really interested in sorting my simple request (getting bontrager mudguard and rack). Will definitely be back once customer back on track but stick to sourcing online for now.
