A well established that's very popular with all sorts, but especially bikers. Very reasonable prices, not quite full restaurant range, but does have food offerings, including breakfasts. Good-sized outdoor area, small 'restaurant' area and ample 'cafe' area. Great range of delicious traditional British puddings too! Route 1066 is a fantastic roadside stop on the London Highway between Hastings and London. As a biker-friendly cafe, it offers a lively and energetic atmosphere, making it a must-visit for anyone on two wheels! The were and accommodating, adding to the warm vibe of the place. My latte was excellent, though the hot chocolate could use some improvement. This has plenty of seating, and it was bustling with when we visited, which adds to its unique charm. What makes Route 1066 even more convenient is the availability of EV chargers—perfect for those traveling in electric vehicles. Whether you’re taking a break from a long drive or just looking for a quick caffeine boost, this is a pit stop to refresh and recharge. Highly recommended for Lovely place good food and a place. When I arrived I got welcomed by some locals having a smoke outside, which made me felt welcomed (it’s not just a cafe, everyone is welcome) Breakfast No1 was £6 well worth it.👍👍👍👍👍 Brilliant in every way. The two young ladies serving 'make' the place in my opinion. Personally I love the Breakfast options you can order all day long, oh and the awesome Guard dog ;) Perhaps an old popular spot that now also houses a Morrison Local devaluing the biker proposition! Took them a while to prepare the full English breakfast but was served hot - the hash browns seemed re-fried or from oil that may have been overused. Sausages were over cooked with dry sides indicating they were sitting on the heat a tad too long. Expensive breakfast for what it is. Would prefer to head to some other local or pub for a bite. The was cheerful but should have indicated the long wait time at order. Used to be a nice quirky biker cafe. It's now a Morrison shop with an average modern that has no appeal to Then outside garden is a dump tbh. Won't be back so custom is THE place to be. That's a proper biker place. Deliberately forgotten after ordering a Duo breakfast. After an hour and not even receiving so much as a drink. I felt obliged to leave. Waitress looked straight through me when I asked if she had called my ticket. Another place that looks better on Instagram than what it actually is. A Clarkson Farm disappointing kind of atmosphere. Avoid disappointment if your expecting good service. Recently refurbished and honestly it's looking great. It's clean the are happy and its welcoming and you can buy groceries. Still very much a biker spot but much better range of food and in a diner style setting. We only tried the fish and chips and chicken on this occasion and both were delicious, well portioned and fairly priced. Would definitely recommend. Well located on A21, around 9 miles from Hastings. Nice seating area outside. The café is well known amongst biker community This used to be a popular spot for and everyone but sadly now it’s just a Morrisons supermarket with an expensive food counter. All atmosphere gone. I’ve been going there for many years but not again. Amazon night out for Johns cross tack room quiz. Lovely food and atmosphere I don’t usually leave reviews, but after seeing the last one, I had to say something. The team here aren’t just Morrisons staff, they’re the backbone of the whole place. Honestly, these young lads and ladies work their socks off to keep everything running, and they do it with a smile, even when it’s mad busy. It’s not easy managing a place like this, but they handle it so well. The food’s always spot on, the vibe’s lovely, and the are proper helpful. Big respect to the team you’re doing a cracking job, keep it up. We came here on Saturday, we were really impressed with the improvements to facilities, the menu offered traditional foods but we decided to try their curry! We had a lamb buhna, and chicken tikka masala… it was delicious!!! And presentation and the service Was really friendly. place to stop by, and super relaxed atmosphere. community and others can relax and enjoy here for sure 👍 We had a lovely meal of fried chicken and chips and salads. Was all delicious with generous potions sizes. We all had ice cream and couldn’t recommend more. And the amazing chocolate milkshakes… they’re not to be missed!
