The next day iv got a massage that my reservation is cancelled, the lady said she has new prices in the year 2024 ( my reservation was in year 2024 !) and she raised the price for 33 % . But price on Szallas is today still the same old from 02.01.2024 for the same days of reservation . The lady has two prices, one for locals and another for foreignes . A really bad experience . Sašo We stayed here for one night. We were making a roadtrip so we decided to stop here and visit the lake which is no more than 10 minutes away from here. The place was really nice, big and clean. If I had to say anything, pans, dishes and glasses weren't that clean. Also the host didn't speak much English, so Google Translate saved our life. Anyway, we had a great stay Great place to stay. Who doesn't like tennis courts, swimming pool and table football. Rooms are very tidy and only 10 min drive from lake balaton. Fun to stay at for a few days, but there were some problems. The area was quite isolated, receiving very infrequent public transit of any kind. Our group had to hike 2 hours from the train station through the woods to arrive at the house. The tennis court was good, the pool was unfortunately closed (understandable since it was the off season), and there were two fire pits which we grilled upon. The owners were very nice, willing and able to offer things like fire starters upon asking. The main gripe we had was the sleeping experience. The beds were quite uncomfortable and the pillows were lacking any substance. Additionally, the noises from the outside made sleeping quite difficult. We heard footsteps and metal scrapes and all kinds of unholy sounds coming from this yard and the neighbours’ yard. It just seemed haunted or cursed. Maybe the owners should invest in an exorcist. If you’re looking for a cheap weekend getaway, come here… but definitely bring a car, and I would certainly recommend a few crucifixes and some salt to banish any sort of unwanted supernatural guests.
