I was there off season, it was under renovations. This is a beautiful spot in Troviscal village, we have many new beaches (fluvial) in and around Sertã, some are hidden and small some are large with restaurants and caffes, this one is a local village one and there appeared to be WC and some coffee shop there but as mentioned it was closed for renovations. It is a lovely spot for a swim.... Well it looks like it. Unfortunately we have never been able to go in as dogs aren't allowed. This makes it impossible to enjoy. And also very strange that dogs aren't allowed to swim on a river! I understand they can sit on the other side of the from the cafe but that would be torture for them if they can't go in. The cafe area is new and clean. The food was ok, I can't actually remember what I had last week ( maybe a burger?) so it couldn't have been too bad or too good! At least the prices included some nicely cooked batatas fritas ( I don't think they were local potatoes or anything, more like those you get from a freezer). Sadly, not worth the trip out with many other beaches ( and dog friendly ones) easier to reach. Amazing!!! Honestly I don't feel like writing about it afraid of crowds discovering this place Heartbroken to return and witness another natural paradise being ruined by concrete and wood footwalks. Very nice beach. Lots of shade. Good and very nice service from the restaurant. Fabulous food, wine, service, and live music here in June 2025. Lovely setting too. Highly recommended. Absolutely brilliant beach. Recently opened after a massive revamp. Very spacious clean full restaurant and bar, plenty of shade. Kayak and water board hire. We took family and grandchildren there, just loved it, very safe for young ones.
