Ignored me at the counter for several minutes whilst making drinks. Had to ask three times for take home boxes as we had lots left. Nice containers but no lids ! Asked for extra containers but only offered a sheet of tin foil. Over £60.00 for 3 ploughman's lunches and three hot drinks. I think we could have been spared an extra container !! Popped into Bells today with my other half for some Lunch and to check out the Pick your own Strawberries options. I was highly impressed with their set up, a lovely relaxing cafe, friendly staff and atmosphere. Our food was very well presented and the ploughmans lunch was an excellent choice. Thanks to Sue and the team for there efforts. Big carpark and so much to offer, it's changed so much over the years it's just getting better. The prices are as you go in so your aware and it's always clean and tidy. Nice place, you can kill a couple of hours walking about. Produce is good and they have bread, cakes etc in the shop as well as a cafe. Farm shop prices are as you'd expect so bear this in mind. Pick your own food is good as well. They do have toilets so don't let that concern you if you have young children. It isn't a hotel, Google seems to think it is. The establishment excels in providing high-quality butchery services, complemented by a diverse selection of fresh produce. They offer a range of hampers at various price points, and the availability of product samples effectively promotes their offerings.The summer kebabs are fantastic. A really great experience. They cater really well for Gluten free. Jacket potato’s/salads….that taste amazing!!! Ice creams and cakes! Really friendly staff who made the experience! Lovely day out!! Great place for family! Most of staff very friendly and keen to help, waitress could wear more appropriate clothes ( uniform, apron, maybe?) Also little smile from the coffee counter staff member would be beneficial for the business and customers We had possibly the best ever breakfast here. Delicious bacon and sausages, the mushrooms and tomatoes tasted fresh, and the eggs (which I’m very fussy about) were cooked to perfection. The red and brown sauces tasted like they were homemade and were served in recycled glass jars which was nice.
