We visited the site on a Saturday with a fairly big group and had a wonderful and pleasure to be guided by Eric, this wonderful subject matter expert. He is superb, and the site is superb. The tasting is fun. You get tokens and can consume extra beers. And then we did the shopping. The operator was super nice too, we dropped her a chat message, and our guided was reserved, and we paid at the end of the tour. Trust, friendliness, really fantastic. The great benefit of getting to visit the brewery, is that you also get to eat amazing ribs and burgers along with the freshest possible right next door. Plenty of parking for free at the hotel across the street. The National Brewery Bofferding is a fantastic spot for enthusiasts visiting Luxembourg! Great value for what we paid, definitely worth coming out. Eric was a great guide and the was well worth the price as the tasted great too! Our personal guide Marilena showed us all the secrets of the making craft and while doing this she was very informative, well organized and entertaining thoughout the whole tour. Also happy to answer all the questions and guide the group with confidence and enthusiasm. Highlights of the was the Cathedral, the old machines and equipment used decades ago and how sustainable the Bofferding brewery is! Such a great experience. !! ERIC, our guide, was not only SO knowledgeable but had such an amusing sense of humour. He made the very memorable. I would highly recommend the tour. Eric is such an asset to his company.!! A really nice and generous pours with the tasting. We got to try the water they use as the base for all their beers, an unfiltered beer, and a based eau de vie in addition to the official tasting of 4-5 beers at the end. I went during the Saturday 3pm when small groups are accepted and we had a pretty small group. I'm really happy with the value and content of the tour.
