We thoroughly enjoyed our wine here. Made a reservation a few days before visiting on a Sunday afternoon. Made the 3 glasses but ended up getting to try 5, because we had a very nice host. Trying the local sparkling wine was great, we enjoyed it. Small snack also during tasting. Dogs allowed inside and given treat and bowl of water. Free parking on site and shop also, to take a bottle home. Good prices. Interesting range of wines from around the world, not only their own brand, which is perfectly fine. I drink their bubbles every Sunday night. The tastings and tours are I think suspended during the pandemic but have enjoyed them in the past. The service in the shop is particularly good and they’re in a nice old building right by the Moselle. We did a guided through the wine cellar plus (three glasses of Crémant). The is done in English. The price (less than 13€ per person) was pretty good value for money, the was quite informative and we liked all Crémants which were offered to us. The service was friendly but not the most reactive, and the ambience on the terrace could be stepped up a bit. Some veggie snacks on the menue would be an asset - but at least after explicitly asking for it, they made us an all-cheese board (and a quite generous one, see on the picture!). Loved the informative and afterwards. One can see and feel the handpicked grapes turned into fabulous taste using champagne method. Shop is big and has a huge collection of sparkling, white and red wines. Second floor areas inside and outside are modern and helped by a knowledgeable staff. This was a great winery to stop at on our drive from Luxemburg to Saint Gore Germany. The gentleman working inside was very helpful and friendly and I was able to pick up two nice bottles of Pinot noir. We also bought two jars of local honey and overall, we were excited to try some Wine from Luxemburg. We visited the place to attend the excursion. It was really great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and keen to answer all our questions. Final made the perfect experience complete. Thank you very much, we will recommend the place to all our friends. Had a marvelous at Bernard Massard. The host that informed us was very polite and knew a lot about the wine house itself. The history from this house goes back to 1921, very inspiring how a name/brand, stays true to their own taste and style. Not much has changed over the years in making the cremant. In between is a segment. Are able to taste 2 bottles. Suggestions are made, and 2 glasses served. The guy helping us was very kind and polite. Service with a smile. After the you're able to buy cremant or other wines. A huge variety of bottles. The sommelier selling knows a lot from the brand and taste. Didn't feel pushed buying. Still after the delicious tasting, got home with 6 bottles. Marvelous! Was there with my friends who are getting married. They got a little gift. 🎁 Felt very welcome.
