Top Amazing medieval fortress on the top of the hill. Only the fortress left but they are still amazing. You need to walk after finding parking place in the town because the road is very narrow to go up hill there. But once you reach this Fortress, you will get awesome ruins with wonderful view to see the town and scenery. This place is quite empty as not a lot of tourist coming because it is a hidden gem and quite far from everywhere. But this is so worth it to come this see this ruin, as too beautiful gem. I came here with my family and dog. My dog is happy to explore up and down around the fortress. Für einen Kurzbesuch perfekt geeignet. Alles in allem waren wir ca 45 Minuten innerhalb der Anlage. Alles frei begehbar, ohne extra Kosten. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und relativ anspruchslos zu erlaufen. Gleichzeitig befindet sich auch ein kleiner Spielplatz in dem näheren Umfeld. Alles in allem schöne Anlage. Wenn der Fahrtweg nicht allzuweit ist sehr empfehlenswert. Worth the visit!! The castle has no Keep left, however the gate and wall towers are still there. The ruins are being taken care of, there are some rennovation attempts, however no historical data about castle's fate is provided. The ruins occupy 2nd dominant hight of the area with a decent view on the old town and former industrial area. A place of peace and harmony. Lovely people. Always great you. Good place Es lohnt sich mal abzuhalten. Sehr gut ausgebaute Wege und Treppen. Man (Frau auch) hat dort eine tolle Aussicht auf Elsterberg.
