There is parking at the museum, just need to purchase your entry and you will be given a ticket for your dash. Lovely lady at the counter who was a wealth of knowledge about Patton, the American troops, Luxembourg and what the citizens went through during the war. Quite ordinary - posters with info and a lot of objects behind glass. Nothing special and not so specialized on General Patton as I had expected. If already know a lot about WWII, then there will be little new. Wonderful that showcases WW2 in Luxembourg from the invasion and occupation, resistance, liberation and the Battle of the Bulge( Arden offensive). Incredible equipment, historical weapons, and personal mementos fill the space. Many stories of the people caught in the cross fire or trying to survive the brutal occupation. Loved the many relics from the battles on display. The airplane parts from crashed Allied and Axis planes was also unexpected. Excellent with a very personal touch. The staff was very helpful and shared their knowledge about the resistance fighters and how much they appreciated Patton and the Americans for liberating their town. You really need two hours to view the artifacts, read the displays and view the two videos. It is well it. Highly recommend! If you’re interested in war and want to know more about WWII in Luxembourg, this is a visit. I rated it 3 stars because it’s quite small and feels rather passive, with little to no interaction for visitors. A good amount of from World War II that you don’t want to forget. The material and exhibits dedicated to Patton are also very interesting. The is definitely well a trip in order to visit, the train station is only a 5-6 minute walk. This is a delightful dedicated to the town’s of occupation and its relationship with the Americans who helped liberate it twice. There are tonnes of artefacts, incredible photos and some very vivid videos. We were lucky to during days and had a guided tour from a passionate expert before taking a ride round the town in an original ww2 jeep!
