A beautiful group of artistic elements and outdoor cafe are evident around the Grand Theatre. I’ll make sure I experience one of its many excellent shows next time I visit. An esthetically pleasing building. The interior is decorated nicely with an art deco flair. We came for a showing of Swan Lake in November. The theater is actually quite small, but comfortable. There could be better air circulation and the drink situation was problematic as there are too many people and not enough persons working so you have no time to get anything. Theater, ballet 🩰. And experience. If you need some drinks 🍷🥂 and small food, you can get there Watched Falstaff / Verdi - piece, wonderful music. Theatre looks Good cultural place in Luxembourg. It would be incredible to have more international variety. THE biggest theatre in Luxembourg. It is also the fanciest and might not be for everyone, but it has the greatest quality as far as lights & sound for shows. The bar is very expensive, up to €4.50 for a juice, but you probably guessed that the moment you walked inside the entrance hall. Nevertheless, it is the most important theatre to see the most known pieces & operas from Luxembourg and international productions from all over the world. Excellent venue for dance performances as well as for theater plays. The tram T1 has a stop just in front of the theater and it takes only 20 minutes from the Central Station, for free (the public transportation is free in Luxemburg). The theater bar is very spacious compared to the number of seats, without mentioning the nice brasserie. Both stay open after the show. Since the number of seats is limited, there's no issue of visibility. The price is quite affordable. theatre with good acoustics and really comfortable seats even for longer performances. The building dates from 1964 and has definitely a sixties vibe to it. Only the bar is a bit understaffed but this does not really alter with a overall experience. Top quality events! Super venue and very kind staff Nice enough theatre, staff was friendly, cloak check went really quick and the piece I watched was great. The facilities are a bit lacking though, it's not giving grand theatre in the restrooms.
