We did the Ronda via ferratas and it was very cool. Julio our guide was very nice and took a lot of pictures of us during the climb, I recommend! What a trip! Julio took us on a fun climb. It's actually not that strenuous and teenagers will be fine. photos making us look like proper climbers! He carried water for us and the kids had a time! Thank you! A friend and I booked a private tour to Sierra Bermeja recently with Julio, from Southcoast Aventuras. The weather was gorgeous in the mountains (around 18-21 degrees celsius, in mid September). We spent over four hours walking and hiking through the forests and rocky summits of Sierra Bermeja. Seeing the pinsapo forest on Pico Los Reales was a true highlight. Julio was excellent at pointing out the different mountain ranges and villages from atop, and making sure we were safe. He adapted to our pace and provided commentary along the entire route. The hike was mostly easy, with a few steep parts and some narrow, rocky trails at times. The trekking poles that our guide provided were very helpful! The crisp and fresh air, the serenity, and the beauty of the landscape were liberating. It got cloudy towards midday and the scenery changed, yet remaining beautiful and now had an aura of mystery. We loved every bit of the way. Highly recommend this hike with an expert. It's very easy to get lost otherwise as some of the trails aren't well defined or marked. Southcoast Aventuras was a discovery and I intend to use them again for other nature tours in Costa del Sol. We had an amazing time with Julio! We had never done canyoning before and he made us feel very comfortable and explained everything well. The hike was beautiful, the water was perfect and our group was fun. Would definitely do this again! We really enjoyed the via ferrata in Ronda and the guides were fantastic helpers with a personalized attention. It was surely the most exciting and unusual activity we have done in all of our trip in Spain. For those having concerns about how much in shape you have to be to do the activity, we will only say we are a both 60 year old! We had an awesome time, the views were incredible. Our guide made us feel very safe and comfortable especially when we did the vertical climbs. The Via Ferrara was a thrilling experience we highly recommend it if you like an adventure. Nicholas was a wonderful guide and I had a time with my family, even though I'm afraid of heights. 10 out of 10 recommend! Absolutely brilliant experience. Tougher than expected but definitely worth it for the adrenaline hit. Julio was team leader who talked us through all the difficult points. Highly recommended 😊 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
