Like there was almost no vegetables on any of our dishes, mostly fries, rice and fried food. The same goes for desserts - good, but heavy cream and ice cream was everywhere. Don't get me wrong - it was tasty. I just felt like I needed a 3 hour nap after eating a dinner with dessert 😅 Fantastic place. Very tastefull dishes - so big we couldn't eat it all. Gulyas - top! Great service - everything perfect. The room was small and simple but very clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen had a fridge, a microwave and a washing machine. How convenient! But the best part is the adjoining restaurant with huge portions of good food. The menu is not far from the usual restaurant food but has some variation. (E.g. I had Sótonyi Borzaska instead of Mátrai Borzaska. Don't ask me how it's different.) Staff was very nice. Thanks! The rooms were nice and clean. The shared kitchen well equipped. The main disappointment was the service in the restaurant. After the first ordering it was impossible to get the attention often the waiters. I would understand if place was busy but that wasn’t the case. It takes eternity to be served and not all of the offered dishes are available. The food is generally tasty. We got wet because od heavy rain. Waiter seems to be tortured by a hangover. Meat soup was stinky with only couple of vegetables thrown to it from the freezer and some small peaces of chicken. Basically, what I would normally call a bouillon rather than a soup. I've chosen pumpkin soup from the menu, but they did not have one. One of us tried to order something else, but the waiter very kindly advised us this was a bad idea and suggested another option. Tuna salad was served with a faded parsley. And 3 out of 4 of us (the 4th is a dog) would strongly recommend to choose another place if you want to eat, not to through money into the bucket. We had to leave our food almost untouched. But this is a pet-friendly place and a friendly place in general, just the food is rubbish. Price is low as well as the quality.
