This is located right in the middle of Triberg city center, making it very convenient to visit and then take a break at the city center. It is very well kept and was not too crowded when we visited in April. Such a scam. First of all you need to wait for the parking in overcrowded lot, where you pay €3. Then, after arriving closer to the waterfall, you will be charged for another €8. You must pay for few minutes view and for the entrance to the museum which you cannot refuse, and even if you have a Schwarzwald guests card which gives you discount of €1, you get lower price only by €0,50. The price was written nowhere before and this worked only as a scam for tourists. I believe the waterfalls are beautiful but in Schwarzwald you can find more beautiful places so I didn’t enter because for me it is definitely not worthy for those money and this dishonest behavior. It's good to see Mother Nature's wonders in different countries. Good walk. The sign says 5 mins. But, truly, it is about a 10 min walk. It’s a beautiful waterfall. Some trails closed down. The price isn’t great but I believe you can visit 3 locations afterwards with the same ticket. So at least you got that going for you. A piece of heaven, no matter how I describe it, it will be inadequate. Absolutely breathtaking! The Triberg is a must-see. Easy to access and incredibly beautiful, it's a perfect natural escape. You'll love the powerful cascades and scenic walks. Parked at the car park at the top and walked down the steep path through the forest, to be met with someone in a kiosk wanting payment to take the path any further to be able to see the waterfall. Sign on the kiosk saying cash only too. It is cool to see, but €40 for five people is a bit much. Beautiful morning walk, options for the walk to see the waterfall. Helpful staff at the entrance. Very beautiful location to visit both in summer and winter. The trek up the waterfalls leads to some amazing views. unfreundlichste kassenmitatbeiterin, die einen beleidigt, wenn man die eintrittspreise kritisiert. waren das letzte mal am wasserfall, sehr schade, war mal wirklich schön, aber ist nur noch abzockerei. die natur ist für alle da, menschen den zugang dazu zu verwehren ist diebstahl und sollte bestraft werden - wirklich ein trauerzeichen für die stadt triberg wie alles versucht wird um leute davon abzuhalten kostenfrei die wasserfälle sehen zu können. und kann ja wirklich auch nicht angehen, das man 8 euro eintritt zahlen muss, um den naturlehrpfad, auf dem wir eig unterwegs waren vollständig laufen zu können, da läuft aber gewaltig was schief hier. Without a guest card, it's simply too expensive at eight euros and not worth seeing even as a family at €18.50. In the Bavarian Forest near the Zugspitze, you can visit the Höllentalklamm gorge for the same price and see 100% more. Lohnt sich 👌🏽 8 € / pers. To Access to the waterfall. It s a nature place ... ! We didn't go. For a family, it s too expensive. There is a lot of other spots in the forests in Schwartzwald.
