As a geography teacher I was really looking forward to visit this place. I was not disappointed when entering the museum. Even tough there are not that many minerals, the ones that are there are huge. Never in my life have I seen such large minerals. Amazing. The shop, however, is far to expensive. I have bought minerals all over the world, prices here are at least 4 times as high. Overall, I highly recommend visiting the museum. We found this place by serendipity but couldn't like it more. Kids were fascinated with every detail. They have a beautiful exposition of Cristals in their native origin, and we were impressed with the variety and collection of this museum. Totally recommend. You have to see it if you are into crystals! Really interesting, not only crystals, but also fossilized animals, plants and dinosaur parts. Great experience, very friendly personnel and a really good audio guide with interesting facts that one wouldn't get to know about if one was just reading the little plaques next to the crystals. Also there's not only and shiny rocks, but also dinosaurs, which might be of some interest to those who maybe accompany a partner with more enthusiasm for crystals.
