The kitchen is outstanding good food They were recommended to us for something different and found they have good kitchen. I am somewhat picky when it comes to food and it was hard for me to eat original Austrian cuisine at some point I found it very heavy and salty but I always like to go to Traditional restaurant and try something special. I had full course menu from soup, salad, main course and dessert that I usually don’t do. The food was splendid! The pumpkin soup has a very distinctive flavour, the mixed seasonal salad were fresh not sure if its from their own garden. The Deer steak was sumptuous, with its sauce that’s not overwhelming the venison flavor matching al dente vegetable. Oh I found the original Apfelstrudel with apricot ice cream. My husband had the House menu for a very reason price with soup and parfait included and he was very happy with the veal schinitzel. Highly recommended! Reservation required. We had a birthday celebration there. The food was really awesome ... top notch quality! We also had a great time with the owners and the staff was friendly too. Room was super clean, super comfortable. I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. Breakfast was exceptionally good with high quality cheese, homemade jam and fresh pastries. Their restaurant is the best in that area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home. Location is fairly close to two skiing areas (30 mins by car). Family Lohr and the entire staff were very welcoming. It is a simple accommodation but one that fulfilled all the requirements we were looking for. Convenient and clean and included amenities for skiing including a heated ski storage room. Breakfast and dinner were served with love. Would recommend. My kids and I had a very nice time here.
