Glyfada Beach

Glyfada is one of the picturesque municipalities in the south of Athens known for its lovely beaches, sea-side bars and tavernas with delicious food, and very enjoyable walks on the sea-front. I like it very much in all seasons, whether in winter with rough seas, few brave swimmers and the first flowers, later with families flying kites to call the spring, and in the summer to enjoy swimming; one of the was awarded a special certificate for exceptional cleanness earlier this year (2017). This is a gorgeous that is really clean. The is crystal clear and the has plenty of space to get some sun. It's a great beach. with water. easy to find. It is crowded especially on weekends. There is a changing room but no Restroom which is why I rate it 4 stars. If you are going to have fun on the all day, this fact is very inappropriate. Disappointed rocks real hard on feet before you get in. So make sure you have good shoes.. not clean.. sadly they didn’t keep it clean. There was dog poop. Garbage all over the. As a person that has travelled to many places in/corners of Greece over the period of 3 decades, I declare this the worse in Greece and one of the only so far I would never go back to swim at. Come here if you want to break your toes on slippery rocks as you enter the and the itself is not that nice either. Go to any other in Greece for a better experience. Entrance fee 8€, bed set 25€. Around 11:00there was no set. The price is high: pizza 19€, coctail 13€, 0,75L 7,5€. The toilet quality was quite good, I found drinking also.
