Luckily someone invented GPS and the Satnav will now get you get here no problem. I enjoyed the Hunters Chicken baguette for lunch. It was very reasonably priced. was quick, and were very helpful. They have a reasonable range of beers and ales. They also have a large beer garden and car park which I'd imagine would fill up in the summer. I don’t normally post reviews, but after today I honestly feel people should be warned. We ordered the Sunday roast, and it was one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. The meat was tough, the potatoes were cold, and the gravy was basically like water. The pickled cabbage was slimy almost like snot and completely inedible. To make things worse, we had to wait ages just to get basic condiments, long after the had already been served. The seemed inexperienced, the atmosphere was poor, and overall it was just a really disappointing experience. No wonder they’re sending out 40% off vouchers to everyone they must have to, just to get people through the door. Even with that discount, it’s definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend The Bootle Arms to anyone and I certainly won’t be going back. I've been twice in 2 weeks, first with a party of 12 for a birthday, 2nd with my husband and I cannot fault the we received from all the at Bootle Arms. Each our meals were delicious, I recently tried a off your new menu and had the Southern fried Ribs and Chicken platter. My word that was the best I've ever had, those ribs 😋 the meat just fell off the bone and the chicken was so juicy 😋 I'd go every weekend if I could. Well done to the chef and all who always had a smile. Excellent 👏 Our first going here and we will be back. Sophie is unbelievable and honestly the her and the other give is so amazing.. We came here to celebrate my brother being cancer free an ringing the bell and they made him feel so special. The most and food was so tasty an came out fast. We was a table of 10 and was served so quickly aswell. Sophie you are and really made our day so thank you for being so kind What a brilliant night for Bingo with the Grinch, the kids absolutely loved it, and so did the adults! And the food is all cooked to perfection this is definitely my new favourite place and will be coming often 😋 We came for Christmas day, we had never been to the Bootle arms and from the get go we was made to feel welcome. We were promptly shown to out table and drinks came shortly after. All of the meals were and hot, tasty and plenty of it as well! Very and welcoming staff. We came for Christmas Day Dinner which as we were coming to a pub we went in with medium expectations due to previous eating out experiences on Xmas day however it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely gorgeous portion sizes were extremely generous and the was perfect. It did not feel too busy in there or like you were in or out it really was fantastic. Bootle arms is the best in the area for quality of customer service, food and drink to dining experience. Everywhere looks clean inside and out. Friendly are present and making sure tables are cared for. Never had a bad experience at the bootle arms. Visited with family as a group for brothers birthday. atmosphere - cosy, calm & relaxed. were and very attentive & helpful. was really quick and the food was gorgeous. The Bootle Arms has been my favourite pub since I moved to the area 3 years ago, took my Dad for the first today and he fell in love with it too. Could not recommend enough! Really enjoyed our meal, great atmosphere and staff, cosy welcoming vibes! The pizza is so good! Nice selection of wines available too which was great! We showed up on a busy evening with no booking and Hannah and the team managed to seat us quickly and we felt very well looked after. We’ll definitely be back to try Curry Night! Thanks again for a evening. Wow! What a fantastic evening we had for our sons 18th birthday meal! There was 20 of us and we were seated upstairs overlooking the rest of the pub. It was cosy and comfortable and had decor. We spoke with Hannah who looked after us and even set up our tables with balloons and decor that we had brought earlier that day . It was beautiful! Our food was - we all had different meals and they arrived timely. The servers and bar were welcoming and :) We where looked after upstairs by Jack - we want to say how made up we are that he looked after us all- , funny, super and made our evening that more special. The menu is varied and the food is nice. The new decor looks good and my 7 year old loves Woodies Den. We really enjoyed playing connect 4 while waiting for our meal. If you have children definitely worth visiting. The are and work hard. We had a evening, myself, my mum and nephew aged 4. We've never been before and were pleasantly surprised by the decor inside and out. The play area outside is great and so is the inside den. The food was delicious and we were very impressed by our meals and the menu. We didn't know kids eat free on a Wednesday so thats was a nice bonus! Our servers were and the other were and welcoming. Restaurant was empty but you couldn't choose where to sit tried to seat us in a conservatory with lots of families and children when we insisted we wantedto sit elsewhere we were told we could only have the table for an hour! The whole we there no one else came to dine as the pictures clearly show 2 hours later. The food was cold and overpriced and no one asked us if we were happy with the service/meal just cleared the plates without interaction. Will not return which is a shame just some common courtesy and good customer goes a long way in the hospitality business.
