For one night it's fine bit expensive but clean nice Vue Beautiful location with great sea views, but the best spots are reserved for permanent residents with large caravans and extensions that block much of the view for other campers. Facilities are very basic: have no divider to keep clothes dry, urinals lack privacy screens, and there is no proper dishwashing area, which makes it less convenient for tent or caravan travelers. The playground is unsafe, with worn-out, broken, or rotting equipment that urgently needs replacement. Campers can shower and use the toilets without having to stay the night, they just need to pay for an access card plus a deposit but that will be refunded along with whatever you don't use for the shower or washing machine. A little further down the road campers can stay without electricity for a reduced price. The site has a good view, but with incredibly rude customer service, it is not worth it! There are two grounds with two different prices, but you will not know that until it is too late. I called the owner upon arrival for clarification before paying, where he decided to not mention the lower price for the ground I said we wanted to use (no electricity and far from facilities). When I randomly ran into him, I asked why we had paid 225kr/night and not 150kr/night stated on a handwritten sign by the other entrance. The extra cost was for power which he knew we would not have at the chosen site. I then asked for a refund which he refused. His reason was that “it is difficult since the money is in a bank account”. He also added that I needed to be “more observant” in a very rude tone. The man is an arrogant scammer. Stay away from this place! There are at least two other nice grounds in Eigersund. Don’t waste your time going to Skadberg Camping. This is a great place for camping, with some place of interest in the nearby areas. When you arrive, just find a spot to and then walk over to the pay machine and pay for the intended days (which is including electricity) you are planning for. On the pay machine you also need to get a key card that cost 50 Nok for deposit, this so you can open the doors to and toilet. Use of toilet is for free, but you need to use the key card to open the doors, since these premises are for guests at the camping only and not fore those who is walking around. Have seen some review regarding the cost of facilities. Shower cost 5Nok a minute, which make sense, since this is to avoid people to take long showers, since sometimes there are lot of people waiting for showers. If you dont use showers, you will get the money back when you return the key card. There is a nice beach nearby good for swimming and water sports. The and toilets are tidy and very clean, compared to other camping places. If we should complain about something, it would be that it should be a bench in the shower rooms, since there are enough place for them. Our family love this place due to scenery, facilities and water activity, so we will definitely come back again.
