Attend it the Athens Con there and I was very disappointed about the way the place was maintained, no fresh paint, rust in some places, not very aesthetically pleasing and not well taken care of. The is like a giant land with uneven structure. Nice big space for big gatherings. We had our Athens marathon race package pickup there. Toilets should be more maintained. Nice place for concerts. A no smoking policy would be nice for air quality in there. Easy around. Messy to leave after the concert’s end given the luck of traffic police presence regulating traffic in the streets around it. Fantastic experience everywhere you sit in the area you can see very well. The area is huge no problem. There is no metro station near. We saw Disney's on ice Frozen a really good show for all the family. Went there for Gabriel Iglesias stand up comedy. Everything was well organized. The only problem was that they only had 2 bars for serving drinks and they couldn't catch up with the crowd creating long long lines.. Visited this venue a few times for various events (last event was Athens Con - 1st to 3rd December 2023). Good facilities and wheelchair friendly. Unfortunately, this place has been neglected by the state. We went there to see a show on ice, but the stadium was in such terrible condition that it negatively impacted the entire experience. The country should take better care of such places! This is the place where large conventions like Athenscon, Gameathlon (video game con), Athens Tabletop, stand up shows and other happenings take place. I believe during these events the place is not wheelchair accessible but I think persons with disabilities can enter through the lower level and can be directed from the people handling in the lot. The lot compensates for a lot of cars although in large events this place is generally full around peak times. You cab walk to Stavros Niarchos from there, I highly recommend this!!
