Beautiful scenery across the forest. There's a lake, where there are some benches, a small cabin (for those who wish to stay there at night) and communal grills. There's toilets and potable water some 200 meters from the parking lot. It's free (for now). Really good place to start or end a short hiking trip. You can refill water at a hand pump. On Sundays they have a smal cafe (opens about 10). Edit The small meadow where you used to be able to put up a tents is now forbidden high value. You are allowed to camp in the forest, but there are not many suitable spots close by (we found one though). Notably crowded.... Good place for exercise with three to hike but if you want solitude, this place is not for you. A real Paradise, one of the the place for hiking and camping around Stockholm. Efter halva sträckan så blev skyltningen så pass motsägelsefullt att vi gick fullständigt galet. Amazing place for a day in the with fire places and grills, a cabin with free coffee and pancakes run by an association, kids friendly around a lake and places to rest, camp and have a picknick.
