A cute town with great views all around. They have nice restaurants and a local market. It is nice to walk around and spend a half day there. It's worth it, see the museum and offer something for maintaining the place is a pleasure, it's a pity to abandon such an amazing place. Worth to visit, walk, and eat, or maybe spend a weekend to enjoy the sunrise 🚗 A magical detour between Rome and Florence Driving from Rome to Florence, we made a spontaneous stop at Civita di Bagnoregio — and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable moments of our trip. We sat for a quiet coffee with flower pots lining the ledge, just taking in the silence and the view. For a brief pause between two iconic cities, this little town offered something just as grand — a moment of stillness. 👣 We didn’t walk all the way up this time, as we were traveling with our child — a small regret, perhaps, but also a reason to come back. Or maybe, just maybe, the view from here was already the most beautiful one. A very informative meuseum to learn about the town you are visiting. Definitely worth the time. Civita is a treasure worth saving. Highly recommend , it does help to understand that history behind the village and its worth to visit . Kind staff and clean toilets Nice and uniqie experience walk around 10 minutes from parking to here. Lot of hotel a mist visit place So it's an amazing little old town, if it's a hot day your gonna have a hard time but still worth it, entre is 5€ per adult at the time of writing this(jun 2025) little cute almost abandonated medieval village, situated on top of a limestone mountain which is slowly crumbling. Not far from Rome, full of typical restaurants and traditional bar, it's a unmissable destination if you discover that area.
