I loved this small therme. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The coffee was good. 😊 Good place to stay for a few hours on a rainy day. Small for little ones, larger play for all audiences as well as 25m for swimmers. Fun water slide with timing unit as well as outside pools for warm sunny days. Close to Glücksburg and the castle as well as the beach. Soap is not included in the showers, so bring from home We went here as a family (my baby 6 months old, my man and I) and we really enjoyed it! The staff are really friendly, they even asked us where we came from and we chatted for a few minutes. The pool, showers, toilets etc were really clean. And there was lots of fun things to do, see and play with, even for our baby. Unfortunately I can only give 4 stars, as I found it to be very expensive. You can't book under two hours and having a small baby we only needed an hour, so we paid 24€ for two adults (children up to 2 years don't have to pay, which is really brilliant!) eventhough we were only in there for 55 minutes. Of course thats our fault, we could of stayed longer, but it would be even more baby and family friendly if we had the option of only booking and paying an hour so for 12€ for 2 adults. Other than that minor thing, we were really impressed and happy and we had an amazing time! It's ok, we went last week and were disappointed, €18 to stay over 4hrs is a little to much, looking up while in the main thermo you can see paint is flaking off the roof and the water was not that warm, the most disappointing for us was the outside, the was cold not even luke warm and the around the outside was not well kept, uncut grass, weeds etc it was all very untidy, such a shame as a few years ago it was beautiful. The food was nice and the staff were pleasant. I hope they give it a bit of a lift as it's a wonderful place. Violent and abusive member of staff in the area. Due to the repairs at hotel des Nordens we were looking for another location for regular visits and we went to the Fördeland Therme today between 12:59 and 14:50 . I am used to having different saunas ( with and without clothes in different places and for certain personal reasons prefer places where I wont have to be naked ). I didnt know that this Therme is naked-only people, there was no information about that when you enter the area. When i came towards the an older man jumped at me and started shouting that i have to take my clothes off. I tried politely to escape him but he continued running after me and screaming- loud , abusive and hysterical. I never came across anyone behaving that way . I was trying to hide from him in the sauna- he jumped in and tried to drag me out of the sauna! Everyone was watching it in silence. I was completely shocked because nobody been ever so violent and dangerous . He was obsessed! I got scared , everything froze inside me and i put my clothes off. He practically verbally raped me in a public place. When I asked receptionists to let me know his name they refused "due to the Datenschutz" and told I have to write to the management. But obviously, nothing will happen. When I came home I just started to cry and cant stop still . Some much for "going someone just to relax". I cant believe someone like that is allowed to work with people- rude, violent, aggressive and potentially dangerous. Hundreds of people there, but all just laying around lazily in the jacuzzi, restaurant or sauna. Nobody swimming - good for me though 😉 Lacking tolerance not catering for cultural difference in the - on the day manned by an undereducated youngster named Niclas. We wont go back, needless to say In the area, there is a German mafia of conservative narrow minded people requesting you to take of your swim wear and be naked. Instead of the accomodating alternative: being large and welcoming all. They name it "textile free sauna", while you on the other hand need to sit on a towel (leading question: isn't a towel a textile whe swim wear is considered textile?). This was orchestrated by a young German man (Niklas/ Niclas) who seem to be out of educational reach. Most certainly not the way to welcome tourist who deviate from the old-fashioned mafia gang members there. No room for being different there. Overpriced (22 EUR), not recommendable - easy to find a better place. The staff is welcoming. The facilities in the sports are good quality. It isn’t too crowded most of the time. Fair price, clean.
