During our visit to Greece, we couldn't miss stopping by House, renowned for their delicious waffles! The menu offers a fantastic variety of options, and we also noticed some tempting shakes that we look forward to trying on our next visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu with ease. Plus, the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, a wonderful experience that I highly recommend! The and ice were delicious and of high quality! 🧇 While the burger was cute, it seemed a bit small; the classic is a better choice! Fresh and quick! Even if its crowded the service is fast. Great crispy and flavourful waffle. The first house that opened in athens and in a terrific location with great sea view. You go for the wonderful taste, but prepare to get disappointed by the slow service as its usually heavy crowded. Overall a must visit if you are around the area. These are, without a doubt, the best I've had in my entire life. I will be going here multiple times for sure. Just be mindful of when you choose to go - they are SUPER BUSY all the time. The are so light, the Nutella was just the perfect accompaniment - we had the banoffee ice with the Ferrero rocher ice (although almost all the reviews said vanilla and pistachio), so this was the ultimate chocolate overdose, but I love my desserts to be like that. 🤓 Their ingredients are excellent - it's so good, you can taste it. One other thing to note is they give you the bill/receipt immediately after your food arrives - they just have way too many people coming in and they would like to clear up tables quickly, but not in a rude way. They're just so busy. Also a special mention for the branding of the place, just 2 words really - TOP NOTCH! The best in Greece. Try with Pistachio on top. The best in town assorted with the greatest variety of ice delicious tastes or even straight with honey, sweet syrup, chocolate or fresh fruits. Cocktails, coffee, yogurt with fruit and honey, snacks and drinks are also served Very nice and ice flavors! The coffee was also very good! Although I usually avoid dairy ice due to being lactose intolerant back in the States, I’ve noticed that I don’t seem to have the same reaction when eating dairy in Greece or other countries. Still, it’s not my personal preference, as I don’t enjoy the lingering aftertaste. I tried a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of vanilla bean. While the flavors didn’t quite suit me, the pistachio scoop was a clear favorite in my group. Everyone ordered two scoops, and pistachio was the common choice across the board. It was rich, nutty, and full of flavor. Many of my friends also ordered the Ferrero Rocher chocolate, and even the kids eagerly finished their servings and started asking their parents for bites. Safe to say, the ice was a hit. One thing I loved about House was the creative variety in how you could enjoy your treat—waffle cones, bowls, or even a slice right in your cup. That detail added something really special to the experience. For dairy lovers, this place has a lot to offer. They even have take-home packs for individuals or families, which is a great option for those wanting to indulge later. The only downside was the lack of dairy-free or vegan ice options, which would have been nice for those with strict dietary needs. Fortunately, there’s another ice shop right across the street that does offer non-dairy alternatives, so you’re not completely out of luck. Overall: If you enjoy traditional, dairy-based desserts, House in Greece is a must-visit. With creative presentation, flavorful scoops (especially the pistachio), and a fun, family-friendly vibe, it’s easy to see why it’s so popular. Giving it 4 stars because, while it’s hands down the best ice I had during my trip, it could be a bit richer and more complex (slightly less sweet with more depth).
