Lipasmata Park offers a unique experience, blending industrial history with outdoor recreation. While the lack of shade and potential odors can be drawbacks, the park's spaciousness, seaside location, and accessibility make it a worthwhile visit, especially during cooler months. Be aware of potential odors from the old fertilizer factories, especially after rain. The park offers limited shade, making it less comfortable on hot days. Pack water and sunscreen. "A hidden gem in our city." "A cool example of how reclaiming industrial zones and repurposing them as parks can produce amazing results." "Looking like an abandoned port, with no cafes, not even shadows to walk in. And it stinks of petroleum." "Great walking/cycling place along the seaside." "The old buildings and the huge chimney are awe inspiring." This place is amazing and has potential to be something incredible. Not that it isn’t already. There is a long pedestrian walkway along the water and if you look towards the city you see all these old factories and abandoned buildings. We went during the day but I can imagine it is a lot more fun at night. Lovely huge industrial place full of past memories and future initiatives. Great venue by the sea! Loved Turkey and we really enjoyed the food, people and atmosphere. An excellent space for a with your family or your dog. You can also take a coffee with you from the canteens. Great walking/cycling place along the seaside. There are 2 cantines, public restrooms and 2 small concert venues. A hidden gem in our city Amazing place. A huge for walking, running, bicycling and hiking. With an amazing view to the sea. The old buildings and the huge chimney are awe inspiring. With many benches and tables to sit and enjoy the view. There's a playground for kids and two cafeterias to buy coffee and food. Lovely and large park, very much a great spot for a long by the sea. The old buildings, silos and smokestacks decorate the and give it its unique style and vibe. This is a very cool example of how reclaiming industrial zones and repurposing them as parks can produce amazing results. A unique with abandoned industrial sites. It could get better care. Really close to Piraeus center, you can approach by car or bike, it is relaxing and it is perfect for outdoor activities. Η ιδανική τοποθεσία για περπάτημα Interesting post industrial area in Piraeus. Big open areas to picnic, your dog or fly a kite. There are also a few cafes and restaurants. Μια όαση δροσιάς ξενοιασιάς κ ξεκούρασης στην τσιμεντουπολη κ στην καθημερινότητα. A good place to around if you're in the area and you like industrial archeology. Beautiful sea view. it also has two parking spaces, two self service coffee shops and public toilets. Ενταξει καλα ειναι A really nice and big with a good view and some cafes. But after it rains or is a bit windy, it starts to have some sort of smell. Most likely from the old abandoned fertilizer factories These reviews make it look like this super nice with lots of cafes and place to walk. We came here expecting just that, only to see smth looking like an abandoned port, with no cafes, not even shadows to in. And it stinks of petroleum. Many friends had spoken to me about the Lipasmata Multifunctional Park, but nothing compared to seeing it with my own eyes. It felt like discovering a hidden gem where the city meets the sea. We sat near the E1 gate — the entrance of ships into the port — and watched as the vessels glided silently across the water, their lights dancing on the surface like fleeting thoughts. The air carried that familiar scent of salt and rust, mingled with the laughter of people scattered along the promenade. It was one of those moments when time seems to slow down — when the hum of the city fades, and you realize that beauty often hides in places you’ve passed a thousand times without noticing. A revelation, indeed. One I’ll gladly return. Below standard the facilities and services. The area is too hot during summer as there is no trees or nature. The coffees shop needs a renovation. However area is recommended for photo shooting Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
