Built entirely from traditional timber and inspired by the culture of the Tatra Mountain highlanders, the atmosphere felt like a step back in time. From the carved wooden interiors to the smallest decorative touches, everything echoed the spirit of the Polish mountains — even the restrooms were part of the experience! The food was a highlight: we enjoyed pork knuckle, żurek, chłodnik, chicken liver with crispy fried potatoes, a fresh salad, and two refreshing glasses of kompot — all for under 200 PLN (around $80 AUD). Delicious, hearty, and incredibly affordable. Upstairs, there's even a beautifully designed wedding hall that seats over 100 guests — perfect for a rustic-style celebration. If you're ever heading toward Gdańsk, Dwór Góralski is well worth the stop. A truly memorable place that brings the mountains to you.
