Over the past two days, I did three with Nunu and Paul. I highly Deep Blue Azores to everyone — they’re personal, attentive, and make everyone feel at ease. The themselves were fantastic: a wide variety of fish species, including tuna, barracudas, conger eels, and octopuses. As a bonus, the cave was a truly unique experience. At the end of my dive, I had challenges (due to my own mistake), and Paulo helped me through the ascend safely, which shows their expertise in navigating an emergency situation. If you are going to Terceira Island Deep Blue is the shop to go with. They are awesome at making sure you get in the water and see things even in off season. Nuno was our guide and he paid attention to details, was very caretaking and professional and showed us amazing sites. Can highly doing your with this center. I have made my open water license (SSI) with them and they are the best. Nuno, the instructor, is a very skilled and smart diver, but not only him, they were all very thoughtful, friendly and open to adapt to my necessities during my stay in Terceira. We were able to explore amazing locations, such Ilhéus das Cabras, ship wreck, some exotic animals and even dolphins. I highly their service, and if you have any doubts on taking the license, it is because you haven’t met them yet! It was really a pleasure to with Nuno, we appreciated the most his quick organising responses and attitude with no useless loosing time during the preparation. We enjoyed on 29th September, during the rain up there, down there it was a calmy place with despite the waves good visibility. Eerste duik zelf wat problemen gehad, maar de instructeur heeft mij daar doorheen geholpen. Phänomenal! Wer auf Terceira ist und Lust auf Tauchen hat, dem kann ich Deep Blue Azores nur empfehlen. Ich bin einfach vorbeigefahren und habe mich nach Tauchmöglichkeiten erkundigt und konnte mir sofort einen Termin aussuchen. Mit dem Divemaster Nuno - ein echt Mega sympathischer Mensch, der seine Tauchreviere kennt wie seine Westentasche - hatte ich insgesamt vier Tauchgänge und es war grandios. Diese Tauchbasis bietet Tauchgänge fernab vom Massentourismus - wie man es von anderen Basen kennt - an und so war ich bei meinen beiden ersten Tauchgängen mit Nuno allein unterwegs. Am zweiten Tag waren wir eine kleine Gruppe von drei Personen und alle kamen auf ihre Kosten. Super Tauchspots mit unheimlich hoher Biodiversität, einfach klasse 👌 Am Ende gab es noch Fotos und Videos der Tauchgänge per E-Mail. Sollte ich noch mal nach Terceira kommen, dann ist Deep Blue definitiv die erste Adresse. Nuno is very competent, inviting and caring. You will feel very comfortable during your dive. I felt very safe, everything was explained and prepared properly. The underwater world we saw was beautiful- we saw a lot of octopus and different fish! They take a camera with them so you can have memories of your dive- I received my pictures and I am grateful for the memories I have with that! I highly this place and would come back anytime!!
