We found this place due other very promising reviews. And they were absolutely right. This campsite is one of the best you can find. First, the personel was very friendly, they speak good english and try to come towards you when in need. They are present almost the whole day. Second, the location is at the begining of the town, so you do not have to manouver trough the narrow streets of town. But you can walk to the fortress via local paths. It's steep but not far. The camp has over the old and valley below. The bathrooms are neat, and there is hot water. Third, the food. They offer delicious food served in beutiful clay pots. We tried traditional mix and it was tasteful and delicious. Cherry on top is that you can eat it on the rooftop, viewing the city in the sunset 🥘🌄 The prices overall are great. I would definetly recomend to and eat here. SPECIAL: Ask for the spirit tasting! Homebrewed spirits of plum, juniper, walnuts etc. You will not be disappointed and you will take some home. Great stopover campsite with perfect service and stunning views! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On my way from Greece, I spent one night at Kruja Vista Camping, and I must say – it was a fantastic choice! The campsite is relatively small but cozy and offers everything a traveler needs. It’s not a big detour from the main route, making it an ideal stop for both short stays and longer visits. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The campervan service is excellent – 230V electricity, fresh water refill, grey and black water disposal, plus showers, a kitchen, and even a washing machine! All of this is available in one place, with breathtaking panoramic of Krujë and the surrounding mountains. A perfect place to rest and recharge! I highly recommend it to all travelers – whether you’re just stopping for a night or planning to explore the area. I’ll definitely be back! 🚐⛰️ and super showers/toilets/etc. perfect for visiting krujë. the owner really cares for the guests well being and there's a nice restaurant that they run with a roof terrace! there are chickens running around. everything was amazing. visiting the castle etc is more recommended by car, the paid parkings are not expensive Very nice small in Krujë. The owners are helpful and tell you a lot about the place. It is about 30 minute walk into town. The services building is newly renovated, almost finished, and will include a rooftop area with over the city. Easily drivable with larger campers as well. Best with the we had in Albania! Very nice 2 days in january as they are open all year around. Location is excelent (just on the border) no need to drive to narrow roaded town. 20 minutes walking to town. 12 eur for parking 7,5m camper (2 people and dog) + 2 euri for electricity per night. The food was all cooked by his mother. Very very tasty. We have been in Albania for 4 weeks and honestly this is the best Campsite we have visited. The are spectacular, lovely shade and the whole area and bathrooms are spotless, modern and clean. The owners are helpful and offer traditional meals at very cheap prices on their rooftop area. It is about 20 minute cycle right up to the castle and bazaar. Easily accessible with larger campers as well. Top recommendations! Circumstances had it I needed to in the area for a while - Avni and his family made it a memorable stay. Their hospitality was warming and I got incorporated in the local life.
