The owner is very kind and friendly. I recommend visiting and tasting their excellent wine. Nice, clean and modern apartments. We stayed there for a few days and it was marvellous. You get a different kind of breakfast basket each day with different local food and you can enjoy it with a breathtaking view over the Vipava valley. You can also do a degustation of several different wines from the vinery itself. Because I didn't try Slowenian before each of them was full of new aromas for me. Our host was very friendly and seemed to know the Vipava valley like her backyard. She gave us tons of advice on what to do and what to avoid. One of the most beautiful and best vineyard tastings I've ever been too (been to 100+). Super kind owner/wine maker and the wines and bubbly both tasted well above average. Excellent making in the most picturesque location. Don't miss this gem! What a wonderful experience! Guerila was a hidden gem on our trip. We sat outside and it was so peaceful to look out on the vineyards and relax. The and cheese plate were delicious and it was so fun to hear bells and watch the sheep running through the bushes and down the hill. Unfortunately, we did not catch the name of the woman working, but she was delightful. She had a great, dry sense of humor and gave us a tour of the cave and barrels downstairs. She also recommended taking a short walk to an old chapel where we were able to ring the church bells. We brought a bottle of and a few shirts back with us. We hope to visit again one day! The tour included seeing the cellars and cave and then tasting 6 different wines. The views are extraordinary into the Vipava valleys. The guide was extremely accommodating and fun to visit with.
