We noticed this huge building while walking from the park, not knowing at first what it was. Once closer, it looked really massive and impressive. Later we realized it’s a stadium. Its modern architecture really stands out compared to other buildings in Tirana — you simply can’t miss it. I visited for Albania v Jordan friendly International. I was able to walk up to the 3 days before the and purchase a ticket . No ID was required and it cost AL 2000 for a Cat 2 ticket. The modern ground is inside an upmarket shopping mall. Once inside there is not much in way of concessions but concourse is in sight of pitch and seating (22,000) was comfortable and close to pitch. Per Albanian culture smoking was not restricted . Despite this I enjoyed my visit and Albania won 4-1 ... wonderful with a lot of pubs around or inside directly... I just passed by the stadium, it was a nice building, doesn’t looked like a anyway at first I thought it is a shopping mall. Not much to say, when I came there was no match. It is in the center within walking distance from the Pyỷamid with shops, restaurants surrounding but very few people. The rules are quite unclear of how to properly orient yourself. Other than that the is contemporary and great. As Albania isn't known for world class football, the is quite small but looks brand new. The colour red dominates and even the fruit juice that I had to order to get a look inside was red.it's impressive but I saw it as a tourist not a sports fan. Beautiful stadium, poorly run. Long unnecessary queues. As an away fan, huge search and ID check and you can't take your phone accessories inside. The was full but the sides were empty. The prices from the sides were high and from the back of the goal not so high. That left a Little place only. The bathrooms were VERY BAD .
