My problem is with head office / the delivery system. I have a Millie’s once before and it was great but this time no. I a for my brother’s 16th and it came 3 days late. This is despite me paying next day delivery. This was a shame as it meant he had nothing to cut on his celebration. This sometimes can’t be helped but What’s worse is that when I called Millie’s to explain, I was met with rudeness, hostility and absolutely no empathy. When the arrived the box was broken and flattened and in no fit state to eat. Furthermore, The courier was DHL and as I checked the tracking each day I found that the driver had a minimum of 70 stops to get through each day by 20:00. The wasn’t prioritised which led to its 3 day delay even though it was ready ahead of time. If you buy from Millies I urge you to click and collect where possible. I wholly recommend the Crawley store. Also, DHL ecommerce please do better as currently you have no way of being contacted for issues like this. Had a great experience at Millie’s this week. The Italian lady who served me was incredibly and left such a good impression. The were delicious and went down well. Will definitely be back!
