Wanted to get three revising teens off of their devices and into some fresh air and Christmas Tree delivered! Lots of lambs and kids about as well as chicks and ducklings. We fed sheep, donkeys and goats and were ignored by haughty alpacas. A great afternoon out. You can purchase buckets of and there is a friendly café for a treat after. Great half washing facilities for after time with the animals. Free parking and Beautiful varied amount of in which i hope they are looked after, For 8 pounds per person i have to be honest and say its not worth it when you can go Mudchute farm, Surrey docks or Maryon Wilson Animal Park for free or for a small donation. I feel this let the place down and with a more reasonable entry fee for a very basic acre of land it would of been a more enjoyable experience and we would of returned but for this price i must say once is enough for us. Also after reading the replies to reviews i believe that some of the comments are vulgar when all someone is doing is reviewing their experience, in which they are entitled to do as a paying customer of 8 pound per adult. A lovely little animal in the village of Downe in Orpington. Entry tickets are GBP6 for adults and GBP4 for children between the age of 2 and 16. You can buy the feeding bucket too and it's great fun to the for both kids and adults alike. They have lamb, sheep, goat, alpaca, donkeys, cows, rheas, chicken and rabbits etc. The is situated on a narrow country road and offers free parking. They have a nice cafe and a clean washing area outside. Friendly staff We visited here at a weekend and it was a lot of fun. The are all very tame and the walk round the is very easy to navigate. You can but buckets of food to the with and the prices are very reasonable. This is an excellent place to bring younger children to give them an opportunity to get close to animals. There are very good hand washing facilities too, for hygiene once you have finished feeding the animals. There is also a small tea room for refreshments should you wish to get something to eat. The parking is free though the car park is not very big. Toddler really enjoyed being able to the goats, sheep, cows, llama, horses and chickens!! Main thing id recommend is a few hand sanitizer's or another hand wash station around the farm. Otherwise we enjoyed it and certainly go back. Only other thing if they had space is a play area for the kids but it's not imperative. Didn't see if they had any baby changing facilities but if they don't prob wouldn't hurt!! Lol Also another thought would be signs to say what the names are, age and breed 🥰 A lovely day out for the whole family! Situated down a country lane Christmas Tree is the perfect place to connect with in a safe & fun way! With a free on site car park right next to the entrance. As it is primarily outdoors on grass & gravel any decent pram should be absolutely fine, I do not however know that wheelchairs would fair the same. The have gated off areas however they are allowed to get out of their zones, and often do! Upon paying entry you can also purchase a bucket of for the animals, I believe you can all of the other than some of the smaller ducks and rabbits located inside (they are near the exit & by which time you will probably be out of food anyway!) Such a great interactive experience for children to learn how to tend to and caring for animals, if you’re lucky you might be able to stroke a sheep or chicken! An on site café serves a variety of food from chips to ice cream! Including vegan options! I was pleasantly surprised to have a choice of 3 different vegan ice creams on my trip! (Needless to say I got all 3!) if planned well you could easily spend 3 or 4 hours here! With baby changing & an out door dinning area there isn’t much more you could ask for! Will definitely recommend & will definitely return! We have visited every for three years. First time we visited, were brilliant, lots to see, great to them, good staff and atmosphere. Visited last week to see the and to buy a Christmas tree. Not many to see and feed, prices have increased to £8 per adult which is steep when there are less animals. Finally but most importantly, the staff. Things used to be great, very bubbly and helpful. But last we were put off, but this we have been sworn off. Staff were grunting and grumbling when serving to enter the animals. Then afterwards when we went to choose a Christmas tree, we were the only ones choosing so it’s not as though they were stressed from being busy! One staff member couldn’t tell us the size or price of the tree we were looking at and stared at it. Then the older gentlemen we also met last year, is moody, rude and completely put us off last year. Despite returning this and hoping for better. We were treated the same way by this older gentleman. We walked away from the Christmas trees and left without choosing one. Will not be returning sadly. We love coming to Christmas tree and have been a number of times with our daughter. The are friendly, are well cared for and there are lots of them, especially during the warmer months and they are close enough to and pet. There is ample (and free) parking, plenty of places to sit down and an overall lovely day out and I’m sure we will be going again soon! :) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
