Mosorel was probably our best host during our stay in Romania (and we had great experience with other place already). The couple running the place was attentive, fluent with English and extremely nice. Our room was huge and reasonably priced, with a view to the mountains and a backdoor that led us almost straight to the beginning of a trail. Magura is a beautiful village, and Mosorel gave us a fantastic opportunity to explore that beauty. The place is amaing, best view best pepole best food. We spent 2 nights, each time we came from long hard hike and they were so walcoming. Although the dinner was 2 hours away, they still gave us food. They instracte us how to start the hike in our secoend day and was worried when we were a little bit late. Amazing location for outdoor activities! Great service and staff, great rooms, great hosts. Absolutely love the balcony views, from all rooms. Excellent traditional food, lots of choices for mountain hiking or leisure walks, 4x4 off road trips, birdwatching, family time and team activities. Love it! Brilliant place to stay with beautiful mountain views. The breakfast was great (omelette, bread, shepherds cheese, ham, homemade jam, coffee) and the room was very comfortable. We arrived without reservation, after having seen they still had rooms available on booking. We received a warm welcome and a charming room with a view on the mountain slopes of the national park. We could even spot a mother bear with her cub in the meadows below from our terrace. Very nice breakfast with amazing local produce (surprisingly the best tomatoes I ever had). Would highly recommend this gem of a place!
