One of the Best Places To Visits in Azuga Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very kind staff and nice amenities. The food is really good and although is with traditional Romanian food, one can find vegetarian combinations too. The is special and at this place, one can expect relaxation, as they have good beds, nice view. Strongly recommended! This place has so much potential, but unfortunately, it is very monotonous. We've stayed here 5 days for the New Year period, and we expected to have the desire to come back, but not... if you have slipping problems or whant to relax, take note that this place has the hardest mattresses in the world (and I've been traveled) is soooooo uncomfortable that my arms and back were aching so bad. In the bathroom, we had no place to put the amenities, no shelves, only on the skink rim. The personel is unanimitate. The happiest person was the housekeeper. Being a champagne cellar, an old one, they have a museum but not available for the ones that stay in, and they not provided a complementary cup as welcome or not even for New Year... not a place/lounge to chill to spend time playing games or any other activity. The restaurant is visited by tourists and the food is OK but not something special. The distance to the slope is around 2km (30min by foot) What can I say. We are here twice on our short stay and also did the tour. Brilliant, through and through. Sparkling tour of the cellar and the bottling room was very very interesting, they still bottle in the traditional method. Wow. The tasting afterwards was also fantastic, served with delicious food. The two nights we ate here, we couldn’t decide what to go for so we ordered pretty much the whole menu with loads of wine. Everything was just perfect and the very reasonably priced. Staff were lovely and attentive too. Only qualm is my bottle of red was served freezing cold. We also bought from their shop. Fantastic selection of great at fantastic prices.
