Adi was my and the most amazing and encouraging person, I felt very lucky to have him as and always having the best energy during the days together and all the challenges. I had never skied before, but after just four hours of lessons, my had me confidently zipping down the slopes. As a result I’m entirely hooked on skiing, and will definitely be back. After a not so good ski rental elsewhere I found R & J accommodating, friendly, and professional. While ensuring that my edges were sharp and the skis were well taken care of cost me an extra €10 it was worth it! The boots were also very good, although tight! I would rent from them again. During our two-hour lesson, the professional instructors were patient, skilled, and provided clear explanations.The organization was excellent, and the atmosphere made it easy to learn while having fun. He is very encouraging, knowledgeable, patient and funny. :) Roxana, the owner, is helpful and as we asked all sort of questions before /during the lesson. She also replied our email very promptly. People were very kind and did everything and beyond to service us. My child enjoyed every second of her lessons. She loved the instructors and made an unbelievable progress from a total beginner to going down from the top of the mountain like a champ. My husband was very happy too. He went from 'I wouldn't be able to ever ski' to 'this is fun and I could probably learn it'. I would wholeheartedly recommend this school. Thank you Adi! The best teacher ever! Great experience! We've been returning to R&J Ski for years now, my son started here when he was 4 and a half. I myself took a some lessons for a couple years, to improve my skills. We've been working with most of their instructors, all different, all wonderful, joyful people, with great teaching skills. I have realised I had never left a review before, now that my son is almost turning 8 and his favorite thing in life so far is skiing in their company. We're grateful for their professionalism, for their care and attention (they never failed to accommodate his needs, though he is suffering from a severe allergy and asthma), for their great communication skills and flexibility, for all the knowledge they shared from skiing to taking care of the equipment... Overall, during those years the people at R&J started to feel like our winter extended family. The team made the whole of skiing for the first time a lot less intimidating than I was expecting it to be, they were very welcoming and patient and thankfully also provided transportation to the ski slopes from their centre. We were quite a big group but that didn't prove to be a problem in any sense. Our ski Adi was very attentive and took great care in all of us getting the basics right before moving the lesson forward. We had a break between our lessons in which we tried (and failed) to use the ski lift and he offered to teach us how to use it correctly in the following lesson, which we really appreciated as complete beginners. Overall the team's services and willingness to go the extra mile for us made our day and made a whole new very approachable and wholesome. I genuinely recommend this place to anyone that is coming to ski at Poiana Brasov. The staff is extremely helpful and patient. The equipment is of good quality and I've heard it's disinfected after every single use. Plus the ski is very nice and takes their time to teach everyone even if you come with a bigger group. And no worries regarding the distance to the ski slope the ski has organized transportation that can take you to and from the ski slopes. Thank you everyone at R&J Ski for making our day!
