Very speciality and pastry selection. The pistacchio croissant was delicious. They have a nice little courtyard in the back where you can enjoy your coffee. And they are also pet friendly 🐕❤️ and child friendly - with a little corner where little ones can play with different toys. Great coffee, cakes/pastries were not the best, quite dry lemon cake, foamy cheesecake. Atmosphere nice, but close to a busy road. Always a pleasure having a at Cafeteca Patria, in summer or winter times, their little garden is a gem! and tasty cookies! This is one of my favorite specialty shops in town. It's laptop-friendly and just outside of the congestion of the old city. The workers are very attentive, and although you order at the bar, they serve you at the table, which is an elegant and civilized touch. There are seating options, for solo guests or groups, inside and also in a garden terrace. The is true third-wave, single-origin coffee, but the selection is a limited at any given time: one variety, lighter roasted and more acidic, for espresso drinks without milk, and another variety, darker and less acidic, for drinks with milk (cappuccino, late, etc.). There is a limited selection of baked goods but of a high standard. The carrot cake is especially good. I also appreciate the hours here; many specialty shops in town close on the early side, but this one is open later. The is great, but the hidden gem is their chocolate salami which was sooo delicious, the best I've tried in Romania so far🤩 Great and atmosphere. Cosy place inside, where you can rest, work or have a nice cup of coffee. Prices are affordable, coffees are tasty. Toilets are clean. There is also a terrace outside to enjoy. The only place you can get an original Freddo Espresso - Freddo Cappuccino! All the other cafes have absolute no idea even if they claim to make one, they are disgusting and totally different. If you are Greek in Brasov come to this place. Prices are the same with Greece so for Romania it is expensive in my opinion I had the best chocolate cream sand cookie ever! It was rainy and chilly outside, but I spent a relaxing here. The back patio feels so secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owner is very accommodating and kind and offered to help get our stroller up the stairs. After years and years and lots of shops making their place in Brașov, Cafeteca Patria (and the other two) past the test of and remains the best for amazing and options. They always have quality beans that they roast themselves and if you are looking to enjoy your at home, here you can opt for some of the best beans in town (the prices are on the high end, depending on the origin of the beans, but the barista will help you pick the right one for your taste). The pistachio croissant is a must to try , also other pastry they have, because they collaborate with the best in business for sweets (brutăria Tothek being my favourite of them)! A plus for me (and probably for most maniacs 😁) is that here they make a huge cappuccino with lots of espresso in it so that you actually feel the taste in every drop. As far as the place itself , it's cozy and there is a nice terrace close to a private garden. Even if the road is nearby, it's quiet. Baristas are lovely and helpful, each I enjoyed being here. The best espresso and tonic in the city. Maybe the world. The flavor is off the charts and the ratio is perfect every I visit. Origin coffee, fresh pastries and sweets, cosy inside with a secret garden that makes you feel like you are in a different and rithm. Great team, super friendly with excelent customer service, they remember your preferences, explain the types, recommend what suits you, a place where you feel at ease. Kids and pets are also welcome!
