We had a at Hunt in Watford and would totally it! The rooms are really well-built and don't feel cheap at all. We did the "Fourth Samurai" room, which was super fun and well-thought-out. Our host, Jasmine, was awesome and really nice. They have other themes too, so there's plenty of variety. Definitely worth checking out! Was really good our Emma was very useful to help us just when we needed it. We want as a family with my two boys eight and ten. We did the fourth samurai quest, it was extremely challenging and is probably the hardest one (out did say that it was). Was out first and I would say if it's your first and you have a younger one maybe choose one of the other rooms but if you would like a challenge then go for this one. All in all a day oit for the family to do something slightly different! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the team, who were incredibly well-prepared for our visit. We had called ahead to inform them we might be late, and they kindly adjusted our booking to ensure we wouldn’t miss out—such customer service! We chose the Pirate Room, and it was an experience. The staff fully embraced the theme, even greeting us in pirate accents, which added to the fun. The puzzles were on the easier side, making it a choice for beginners or those looking for a more relaxed experience. There was a hint system in place, and the game hosts, REGINA AND EMMA, were fantastic in guiding us when needed. One standout detail was the thoughtful surprise at the end. Even though we hadn’t mentioned that it was my birthday, the team somehow found out and gave me a personalized card—such a sweet touch! OTHER HIGHLIGHTS: Lockers were provided for our belongings, and since we had a lot, they even gave us two! The waiting area was comfortable, with tables and games to keep us entertained before our session. Waivers were required before playing, so arriving a bit early is a good idea. I highly booking in advance to secure your preferred slot. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and I’d highly it to anyone looking for a fun, immersive adventure. Did the Curse of the Pharoah with a friend and had an absolute blast from the moment we stepped into the place. Staff are so kind and friendly, and were excellent and hilarious hosts while we waited for our game to start. The game itself was clever and challenging, and despite having a plethora of rooms under my belt we just managed to (though the delicious drinks we were given may have played a part in that). The was filled with unique and interesting puzzles that really made us think—it was refreshingly different from others we've done. The whole was very well designed, full of enigmas that were clever and challenging—enough to push you to think without ever feeling frustrating. Toby, our host, was fantastic and really guided us to have the best possible. The one hour flew by, and we had such a time. We’ll definitely be coming back to try the other rooms. A solid 10/10. Only negative was clue giving: couldn’t hear them very clearly. Voice spoke to quickly for us to take in information. When we came in, not the nicest of welcomes. Told to leave again and come back. We were hoping to have a drink before but we didn’t feel welcome at first. Staff member seemed a bit stressed. (Not our Games Host) if my review wasn’t including the actually itself, I would only give 1 star) Room doors were open when I walked to the toilet, so it spoiled it. Super friendly and really helpful. Would come again. We came to do the new Eye of The Sun God, which was a with some original puzzles. As a group of two we managed to with little to spare. Helped along the way by the very friendly and funny Xhenis, who gave us hints as needed and was very supportive when we were feeling stuck, without talking us through the whole room. Such a fun experience!! We did the Eye of the Sun God and it was brilliant, some parts really stumped us 😂 You go in thinking I’ll get this done in no but that hour suddenly disappears. Challenging enough to stretch our thinking but not too hard to get stressed about. Went with a wise range of ages and everyone could participate with helping solve the clues. So glad we managed escaped! 🙌🏼 We booked an Eye of the sun God with our Laura who was amazing. Unfortunately she was the only employee working today it looked like. She was having to deal with us, several other rooms and anyone that came in to speak with her on the till. She handled it very professionally, remaining extremely kind and patient with us, It’s a shame as a bunch of kids came in at the last minute, trying to get in the rooms. I really appreciated that he asked upfront if we wanted unsolicited clues or only if we asked for them. And he was, overall, very supportive, in a light-touch way (just enough, in other words). It was a very fun afternoon with the family. We are planning to come again. We did the Blackbeard’s Treasure as a family of five — two adults and three children aged 15 down to 9. For two of the younger ones, it was their very first experience, and they absolutely loved it! Our was brilliant — they explained everything clearly, made sure we felt comfortable, and told us how to get extra help if we needed it. Whenever we rang the bell for guidance, the responded quickly with clues that kept things fun and moving. Everyone got involved, and it was teamwork from start to finish. The puzzles were clever, the theme was fantastic, and the whole was really engaging. We’d highly Hunt for a fun family day out or a group activity with friends. I'd also like to leave a shout out to one of the hosts, Holly, who went above and beyond to ensure my friend, who has epilepsy, could safely participate. Her proactive approach and genuine care made a big difference in creating a safe and supportive environment for my friend! Highly recommend! It's realyyy hard to get out but me and my friends managed to get out just in by 12 seconds!I recoment the Alice and wonderland one it's really fun. Overall I will definitely go again some time!! As first-timers we found this quite difficult, but even though we went over the recommended time, our Gemma was very lovely, allowed us to complete it past their recommended time, and gave us clues. I have Tourettes and although I was quite loud at times both in and out of the (though I never mentioned it to the staff, so they may not have known), staff were still super kind and never made me feel uncomfortable.
