The location is absolutely beautiful and the service friendly, quick and professional. The adjacent museum, shop and plantation are definitely a must-see, I can’t praise them enough. The only reason for the 1-star ranking, is because there is a donkey, a goat and a pony as part of petting zoo. Sadly, they are chained in a way that they can only move a metre or so in each direction, which is animal cruelty. The donkey‘s hooves have grown excessively, showing that it doesn’t get exercise and it’s not well looked after. A serene & magical place to share a meal with family or friends - the atmosphere was laid-back & casual chic. The surrounding gardens and orchards were especially lovely. Cheers for having interesting and not Greek specific menu selections - I came here with family during the Easter weekend and relished every moment...a must visit when in Chios! Great atmosphere. It was crowded when we went, and we had to wait forever for our order. We had the breakfast plate, it was okay. Might go again just for the vibe. When you walk through the gateway, you step into a magical garden cafe, that takes you back to a time when we were more connected with the land and it's wonderful bounty. The beautiful music coupled with the beautiful setting makes an immediate positive impact on your demeanor. It is a very zen-like experience. All the items that we sampled from the menu were delicious and fresh. Some notable standouts were the masticha ice cream, orange pie, the beautiful tea pot/serving, and the fresh juices and lemonade. They also have an outdoor theater and host performances. If you want a calming and soothing experience, this is the destination. It was impressionable. The food, service, and setting are all lovely, with a great atmosphere and plenty of shade. However, I was uncomfortable how the animals at the back were treated. Seeing a donkey chained with barely two metres of movement in either direction didn’t feel right to me. Slow, ,slow and waiters are so rude. I think these stuf work under the force. We gave order amd 1 breakfast plate and prepeeation time 1 hour. As in picture bill come earlier than the order. Lovely place with great vibes and greater people. Some nights there are movie nights.
