What a lovely end to 2023 tonight me and my family went on 🚂 illumination on the watercress line we booked in advance as it is very popular absolutely loved it it's a ten from me staff were lovely couldn't do enough for my partner who is disabled getting her on and off the train parking 🅿️ at alresford 🚉 absolutely recommend it quality time together happy new year 🎊🕛 to you all. We were very lucky yesterday to be invited to the drivers cab of class 20 diesel train. It made my 5 year old sons day! Thank you Went for the gala. Not quite as many locomotives running as other galas and 50 minutes late by the end of the day but if you go to heritage lines then sometimes this happens. Having said that it was a great day out. Plenty to do and see at the various stations. A lovely ride from alton to Alresford. Would definitely recommend that you pay a visit Took the train here... Train master and all the staffs are most friendly among all the other stations they stopped. With smiled and waved at you everytime we passed by the stations.... are keeping very well with a small lil musuem about the train. We took our SEN students to see the and watch a train arrive for a future trip out on the Watercress line. The staff at the were so friendly and helpful which made the visit enjoyable and helped our students feel welcomed and safe. Big thank you to you all...you're a credit to the station. Being a railway Anorak, I had to go to the Watercress Heritage Railway, to fill my lungs with smell of smoke and steam. It was nostalgic to go back in time to see how the railway were when I was a boy. I came here for the Watercress Line Diesel Gala and it was amazing! I had an amazing time at this too! 😎👍🏻 I am a lover of trains, and this was my first visit, my girlfriend surprised me on new year's day, all the volunteers were very helpful and well presented in vintage attire. The trains themselves seem to be well looked after.
