We came here today to enjoy M’s Christmas present…Doctor Who - A Dalek Awakens. We arrived a bit flustered due to Oxford traffic putting our at risk but thankfully we had a trick up our sleeve to save (no, not a Machine…Google Maps!). This wasn’t the best we’ve done but nor was it the worst. We think we tend to favour non-linear ones but appreciate that they don’t lend themselves as well to storytelling experiences like this. This is well built and nicely themed. The Dalek is excellent. The was much better than the cyberman one we did many years ago. That had lots broken. This one wasn’t without technical issues but they didn’t overly affect our fun. Our hosts Izzy and Cam were great. As always it’s the people that make these things work best…so thank you! Quite pricey but good fun! There are choices of rooms. We did the Alice in wonderland (which is on the tougher scale from the completion times). At times it's quite a logical puzzle but other times feels a little random but there are always helpers on hand! There is also a nice little waiting We visited yesterday as a group of 4 to complete "Escape the Wild West" and had a brilliant time! The was surprisingly big and we loved that there was actually a train carriage part within it and the funny task we had to do alongside it. It was a little difficult at times and we were grateful for some hints, but we managed to in 53 minutes! Charlie was such a wonderful and made us all feel so welcome and you can tell he loves what he does which made the that bit more enjoyable. His voice overs in the and fun commentary made us laugh too. Thank you Charlie and Hunt Oxford! We had a fantastic at Hunt Oxford. First visit; we chose the pirate room. Really really good fun, and worked well for a group of 3 people. The puzzles were fun and was nice to get a few pointers when we got stuck a few times. Would happily this venue to everyone and we will definitely come back to try the other rooms. Big shout out to our pirate helper, Richard. Super friendly & made it a experience. Thank you! William was our clue giver for Curse of the Pharaoh and it was so good we all thought it was pre-recorded for most of the time! Had a fantastic and he was tailoring the for our nine year old What a fabulous fun activity to do on a Saturday with friends. First for 3 of us and we had a blast! Pre cocktails were lovely, we did the Ancient Egypt rooms, the props and setting were unbelievably good! Ibrahim was the best host! Patient and funny with such a friendly welcoming attitude. Thank you for a evening The staff were extremely welcoming and enthusiastic. The puzzle itself was very fun with a good level of challenge even though we picked an easy one. Charlie was especially helpful and made our 2.3x better! We did the A Dalek Awakens and it was so much fun! Chloe and Kade were amazing hosts and made it 100X better! 💜 This was my second at an room. It was really good fun and our Richard was amazing. He got us to really get into character. He was when we had to ask for hints. His Wild West accent really set the scene. 100% recommend. Can’t wait for our next adventure. We had a in the Wild West (and even managed to get out in time). We went as a party of 4 ranging from very experienced to first escaper and all enjoyed the puzzles. Charlie was an excellent games master and really added to the immersion. I look forward to trying some more of these rooms at some point. My only regrets are forgetting a cowboy hat while in the room, and leaving by bus instead of frantically restarted/hijacked steam train..... We did the pharoes curse and it was a very fun and enjoyable. The puzzels ranged in difficulty and the pressure added excitement. The whole atmosphere was very immersive and Mia was a helper and very kind and so were her colleagues. We highly reccomend this place and would definately come again. We had the best at Hunt Oxford. We were celebrating our friend’s 26th birthday and she is a keen Pirates of the Caribbean fan- so we took on Blackbeard’s Treasure Hunt! From start to finish our was amazing - with all staff being incredibly welcoming and accommodating (even board games on the table whilst we were waiting for the hunt to start). Our Kit was incredible- full of energy, incredibly personable and approachable and supported us throughout! We escaped and Kit was quick to let us know how well we did- sending us home with huge egos!!! and we even made it on to the leaderboard!!! Would absolutely reccomend Hunt Oxford and the fantastic team that work there! We had an amazing at the room, and a huge part of that was thanks to Chloe! From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, energetic, and full of enthusiasm. Her instructions were clear and engaging, and she struck the perfect balance between letting us figure things out and giving just the right hints at the right time. Chloe truly elevated the whole — it felt like she was rooting for us the entire way. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it made all the difference. We did the Curse of the Pharaoh and it was one of the best rooms I’ve done in a while. It was fun, interactive, and a activity for all ages! Ibrahim was a and was very friendly, explaining everything and assisting when we needed hints. Definitely would Hunt to anyone visiting Oxford! Chloë made the all the more special. She took care of us, especially with my partner having epilepsy. Upon request she was more than happy to warn us for any loud noises and afterwards we still had a chat. Very accommodating, would definitely recommend. Had a here today and am extremely happy to have been able to complete the Seven Samurai (in 58 minutes; we were almost trapped). Ibrahim was a fantastic guide. The game is fun and the puzzles are challenging but achievable (and you can always ask for help). Will definitely be back to try one of the other rooms.
