I was a little concerned as some people did not know how to land and I saw a being landed onto gravel. It would have been if someone was watching out of the welfare of the fish. Set in a setting, the food was tasty and reasonably priced too. We went at the weekend, it was very busy but we managed to park and get a table too. We will be back. Enjoyed our family day activity at the junior ponds. The were very friendly, and very relaxed. Our kids (6-9) years old could a big carps and touched them before releasing them. Next to the we where OK was a couple of small lakes for junior anglers with barriers all round to keep them safe they even hire out equipment to the children, I will definitely be taking my Newphews looks a facility. The junior lakes are open 10-5, we stayed all day from open to close. The were brilliant, really helpful and luckily the other people around us were also friendly and helpful when we got stuck trying to remove the hook! Also a cafe on site and toilets.
