Nice and clean, but the stations aren't enough to entertain for longer than 30minutes really. Mine are between 4-8 and there is only that back big for them to go on. The climbing frame was closed so was the faster slide. Quad cars are fine but you need £1 for each ride Our 2 grandchildren loved it here. Age 6 & 8. First we have visited today. They loved the high ropes challenge & the quad bikes and the whole adventure zone. I think the parents loved it too judging by the look on their faces "rescuing" their children. Lots to do here. Food available but didn't try any of it. were helpful & friendly. It was clean & tidy but toilets are looking a little tired now. We paid £25.00 for a two hour slot for 2 adults & 2 which I think is reasonable. We hardly saw the & the flew by. No issues parking but getting out of the industrial estate onto the main road is challenging. Would recommend this venue & would definitely go back. Great space. Our 6 month old loved it. Beautiful place for soft for upto 12 years with seperate place for baby/toddlers. Also very reasonably priced for 2 hrs slot. Loved the way they colour code your entry to ensure adequate spaces for different timeslots. Parking is very limited and hence will be lucky if people before you leave on time. Not much choice of snacks but sufficient to feed kids. Always book online in advance before entry. Good for the price. If you want Seat upstairs, actually good one. Then book slot for yellow seating. Orange and blue sit on the ground floor. Toilets can be better but considering the price and demand, can’t comment. Indoor foods are pricey compared to store. Really really really hard to park. Seriously they have to do something about it. Arrive before atleast 20 mins to park. Very limited space. Go cart available for pound. Pls bring your own money or you need to buy something from shop to get cashback. This is our second visit and again was perfect for my little one. The first we came with a 9 year old and 1 year old. Both were very happy and had a great time. This it was just me and my 1 year old, again the sensory areas were great for her. I do love that the is gated so there alot safer and free to roam. I would also like to say the cafe is great not over priced and a good selection of food. 2nd visit and the Grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed but please update your website to show that the drop slide is permanently closed I’ve visited Adventure in Maidstone twice now, and while the sensory activities are fantastic for babies and toddlers, the customer service really lets the place down. Both times, the front desk have come across as unfriendly. Today, I dropped in at 2 PM—when the place was nearly empty except for one other child—only to be rudely that I needed to have booked in advance. The tone was unnecessarily aggressive, which made the uncomfortable for both me and my teenage daughter. On my way out, I casually said, “You guys should smile—it’s a kids’ venue!” The young lady at the desk apologized, but another member replied, “Not much to smile about.” That response pretty much summed up the atmosphere. It’s a shame because the itself is great, but the overall vibe feels unwelcoming. I don’t think I’ll be returning. Just to add re the response posted yesterday by the venue - Dear Connor, Thank you for your response. However, I’d like to clarify a few points. Firstly, as a senior protection worker, I am well aware of safeguarding policies and never suggested that should unsupervised with children. My comment was simply that in a children’s venue, should have a welcoming and friendly demeanour. I merely pointed out that you should smile, as it is not encouraging to see looking angry and unapproachable in an environment designed for children’s enjoyment. Your defensive response and tone reinforce the very issue I highlighted—customer service and atmosphere matter in a children’s venue. I stand by my review and hope this feedback encourages a more positive and welcoming for future visitors. Best, Amy Took granddaughters here today - great staff/Manager (Connor) a lovely fun afternoon x thank you lots My absolutely love this place. A firm favourite of ours Such a brilliant little place. Always so well air conditioned and a lovely environment. The cafe is excellent and such good quality for price. are always cheery and attentive. Perfect hidden gem in the community! Was very quiet for last week of summer holidays, the place it self was clean and seemed to be staffed well. Ordered food, was hot and was not over priced, ordered a panini which stated on menu comes with a side salad, which was two slices of cucumber and a slice or tomato. Good job the panini was lovely! Had a two hour slot, completely understand if the place was packed out, I went in a group of 5 adults and 7 we was happily buying drinks and food and would of stayed longer if we could of. If you have a I would recommend coming on a week day outside of school holidays as the sensory areas are great. However at weekends the & toddler areas are overrun with older which makes it quite dangerous to let little ones crawl around & explore. It’s a shame this isn’t managed better by parents & staff. Great place for private parties Came here today for a child's birthday party and I was quite excited to attend with my and celebrate as I had had such a great here a couple years ago. First mistake was attending a child's party here on a Saturday at lunch time. As soon as we arrived parking was clearly atrocious with a massive queue and cars turning around in a small space to just find somewhere to park. Went inside and it was complete mayhem in there, which was fine and expected but both of the 2 children's parties that were taking place were shoved on to 2 tables over the far side right next to where everyone queued for their food and drinks, and with it being lunch the queue was very large and meant it was quite difficult to manoeuvre around our tables. My 4 year old daughter went off with my husband and family members to on the bigger parts of soft and I decided to take my 4 month old son to the section as he loves lights and I'm aware the section is good there. However, I was in the section less than 10 minutes. I laid my 4 month old son down on the right side of the sensory lights part so that there was room for other babies and parents to put their in there too. A girl who was clearly older than or toddler age suddenly came into this space and was walking around it, no parent in sight to tell her she shouldn't be in that section. She then tried to leave, and rather than walk on the left side where there was a tonne of space as I'd left a tonne of space, she started walking through the middle of the light tubes where my son was laying and literally stood on his face. It was not accidental as she was walking slow enough for her to know where she was stepping. I immediately picked up my son, and the girl off and her what she had done and that she shouldn't be in that section. Again no parents in sight and no workers nearby to flag that this had happened and to control the area. I stayed in the but held my son as the girl left, but then within a minute or so there was a parent who came with his older and was encouraging them to in the section. Again no around to inform them of this. I will say it was a very busy and I can imagine were dealing with food orders and cleaning, and the 2 parties, but it was very upsetting and frustrating that older were just in the area. I really think it needs to be more secluded like in other soft centres to ensure that older aren't just able to go in and hurt babies. I did not go back in to the actual soft after this which was a real shame as I had to just sit out because I couldn't rely upon my son being able to in the section knowing older were just running around in it. Both my husband and I were very disappointed in the toilets. Whilst there was a changing facility there, this was constantly locked and presumably in use whenever we went to use it and it meant that my husband could then not change our son's nappy as there was no changing facilities in the men's toilets. There was a changing table in the women's toilets which I had to use, however, as soon as you pulled it down it immediately blocked entrance to one of the only 2 toilets in the ladies. This became an issue as whilst changing my son's nappy, another lady came in with her two sons who both needed the toilet and quite desperately and there wasn't really an easy way to navigate the situation as the changing table was completely blocking entrance to one of the cubicles. The toilets upstairs when we went to the party room was even worse because you have 3 party rooms upstairs catering to at least 10 children, and only have 2 toilets up there, one for women and one for men. Again, this became an issue when I needed to take my daughter to the toilet during her cousin's party and we had to wait as the ladies was being used, however, my daughter became very desperate and so we had no choice but to quickly pop into the men's so that she didn't have an accident and spoil her day. Took my son, who has a learning disability and some sensory issues. The were fantastic, attentive and polite. He had a brilliant and I will definitely bring him back again soon. Excellent place to take my 3 boys 👍🏻 Very helpful staff. Good food. Had a great time. Edit in response to your very false response- I indeed did speak to your colleague on the phone and did inform her that my son had hurt his foot and I was having to take him to hospital. You are claiming I never emailed? I will attach my email I sent to you immediately after I came off the phone. You have no compassion at all, every response to any of your reviews is hostile which leads me to believe that you do not care about your customers that are funding your business at all. I will be contacting the appropriate people to have this matter resolved as I feel you have no intention of helping me resolve this and only want to be rude. I will also be collecting other pieces of information from people that share my concerns (as I’ve been reached out to by a few) and taking them further also. Have a good day, if you wish to contact me you can reply back to the email you absolutely received and that I 100% sent to you. On the 18th of may I decided I was going to treat both my to a day out to soft which they were both very excited about so I booked it in the morning ready to go for 12am however in the morning my son unfortunately fell down a half a flight of stairs and had to be taken to hospital as he had hurt his foot. I rung the soft centre and explained and kindly asked them if I could either have a refund or move the session. The lady on the phone me that her boss that usually deals with these things wasn’t there but would be back tomorrow and asked me to email (which I did). I then got absolutely zero communication at all so I rang back to be that they had gone on holiday and I wouldn’t be issued a refund because of their 24 hour policy which I understood. Going on almost a month later I have had no response at all and it’s very clear to me that they have no intention to reply back to me and would rather just take my money. Absolutely disgusting considering the fact that this was an unforeseen circumstance and I didn’t even care about the refund I just wanted an opportunity for my not to miss out. I will never ever be bringing my back here, no compassion at all. I will be taking this further to see if I can recover my money you have taken despite my best efforts just to move a date a week or so later. If I could give negetive stars I would. Shocking today. Below is an email I have sent to The Manager which defines my experience: I have just visited the Aylesford facility and am appalled by what I have experienced in my short there. I booked a session for 9.30am weeks ago. Upon arriving we were informed that the main was closed due to dust. Firstly, the issue with that is I’ve paid full price for a session to be on arrival that I cannot use the main part of the activity. With in hand - if you have you would understand the predicament of that alone. We were not informed in advance of this closure, despite having a booking with all my contact information within. My partner and I booked the day off work to bring our today - which is very valuable. Secondly, the “dust” was actually clumps of grey dust which was everywhere - not just in the main frame. You are an attraction for CHILDREN. You should not have been open today and frankly I will be looking to report this incident. Two members of were half heartedly wiping the slide for the we were present. There was no urgency to clean or remove the dust whilst more were arriving. Thirdly, multiple parents are now asking for a refund and the two female members of on reception were disgusting in their response. One member just point blank ignored the customers. Shocking customer service. I understand that without a manager present it’s difficult to deal with these situations however there was no care whatsoever. The fact that there was no manger present in this situation is also shocking. Another point to be reported I feel. I am writing this to not only demand a refund but to also report to you the shambolic today. You should be ashamed of how your facility has handled this issue. I will also be taking this information and putting it on all review sites to make others aware as I would hate for people to waste their money and off on your facility. We hadn’t visited in a while, so we thought we’d bring our five- and seven-year-olds to with their friends. To our surprise, they want to charge £5 for our that’s is under five. I believe this policy needs reviewing— wife £5 for our baby, who is not even three months old and was either asleep or being held the entire time. There is no intention of using any of the facilities apart from the seating area. A charge would be understandable if the were at least crawling. This reminded us why we’re regulars at The Fun Drum instead. Had a fantastic at Adventure Kidz with my five-month-old! The was clean, safe, and filled with sensory lights that kept my little one entertained. The glowing colours and soft setup made it a fun and engaging experience. The were friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit even better. A great spot for little ones to explore, definitely coming back! From the look of the place on the Internet, I thought it was going to be really fun for the boys (age 5&6). A short 5 min wait to be served, to show our pre booked tickets. The at the entrance were fairly friendly. I was abit underwhelmed with the the 5+ age had to play. I felt it wasnt enough really. The drop slide was closed, the quads you had to pay £1 for each short ride and when we went up to the indoor climbing ropes, they were closed about 45mins before the session ended! The guy me there had been an announcement, but the quality of the tannoy is so bad, you can't understand a thing they are saying over it. I was there was nothing they could do about the tannoy. Ended up with a very upset becuse he didn't get a go. There was no one enforcing rules either, loads of teenagers were running up the wave slides, and one of them completely knocked my son off his feet, causing him to smack his head hard on the slide. When I approached one of the team about those kids, they me it is the parents responsibility to supervise them. It appeared they just didn't want to hassle of approaching the parents. I ate a tuna panini at the centre, which was tasty, but took 20mins to come out despite it being a very quick item to make. In all, I don't think it was worth the money. I think althougb the Rainforest Adventure costs £2 more for us you get everything included in the price and they enjoy it more. Won't be coming back here unless there are changes made. I honestly wish again I could say something positive.. mostly all round very good but sadly the Lad that was in the overhead harnessing the let it down for me! He was rude to my 5 year old shouting at her and moaning about the when they got stuck! I sat here and heard him moaning about having to assist her among other ! Is this not what they are paid to do? I had to physically speak to him and tell him to stop shouting at a 5 year old because she didn’t know to pull the cord to get back down the steps Visited during half term. We come here every couple of months. My partner asked for a jug of tap water from the cafe bar. I was gobsmacked that she me she was charged £1 for the tap water. I asked to speak to management who then asked if I would like to talk to the owner. Upon speaking with the owner he said he has to charge for tap water as any other business expense. It was part of the business rates and is a chargeable expense just as cordial is or buying bottled water. In my opinion tap water whether it comes in a glass cup, mug, plastic cup of jug should be free! It’s a basic human right. Unfortunately having googled business expenses apparently perfectly within his right to charge me for using a washable jug. I said if my was sick and I needed a cup of water in emergency you are going to charge me. He just shrugged his shoulders and said sorry I can’t help you. Poor customer service. Surely his should say ‘but if you have a water bottle I can top if up for free’, unfortunately they are just being what to do. No apology. No sense of seeing my point of view. I have gone into many establishments from Starbucks to regular cafes, bars and pubs and never have I ever been charged for tap water! Even been given takeaway cups. I even joked and said well if you’re charging for tap water are you going to start charging people to wash their hands and use the toilet? No answer. Surely this is all covered in the cost of entering the building and paying for your sessions. I will not be returning with my family, from principle as I think this is shocking. Soft itself is fun for children. The place seems to always be understaffed (the I did speak to on shift were kind and trying their best to be helpful but hard for over worked so can’t fault them) the last few times I’ve been high ropes and drop slide are not in action. I have disappointed leaving there as these are the main attractions for them, when contacting management to share my negative comments they don’t have much to say - poor customer service in that area, got an answer for everything really and clearly not wanting to improve their negative customer reviews, this is not my first with bad with the management here when my son had his 2nd birthday 3 years ago and would not let me pay extra for some of the older in the party to the high ropes even though it’s included in a standard ticket price - bizarre and not customer friendly - I can see nothing has really changed in 3 years. Just don’t want other customers to go purely for the high ropes because likely it won’t be open - I will be going to the Fun Drum instead. We attended the 9:30 soft session today, during which our 6 year old Ben wanted to try the high ropes. He was nervous and when he got up there decided he was too afraid and came back down. Connor took the to take him back up and gently encourage Ben to walk the right rope, whilst it didn't work this time, Ben left with a huge smile on his face, got high fives from Connor and the team and big well dones. As you know memories like these have such a lasting effect on the and the fact this was a positive for Ben has made all the difference. We feel Connor really took the and went over and above and we are so grateful Visited on 14/01/2025 with my 2 year old and 11 month old. During our visit, my two-year-old slipped on a large pile of vomit in the and toddler area. I informed immediately, but little action was taken to address the issue. Following this, I took my to the bathroom to clean him up, only to find there was no hot water available and none of the hand sanitiser dispensers were stocked. I approached the to request a refund, as we had spent most of our visit trying to clean up my child. The person I spoke to, who claimed to be the manager, contacted someone else for permission, which took 15 minutes, only to deny the request on the grounds that we had been there for over half of our session. This is not accurate, as much of the was spent dealing with the aftermath of the incident. Throughout the interaction, I received no apology and was simply told, “It wasn’t his fault.” I find this response unacceptable given the circumstances. There are clear issues with cleanliness, infection control, and customer care. I would not recommend a visit here. I do not expect to spend nearly £30 for a family of 4 to leave an hour later covered in another child’s vomit.
