When we arrived there was a very long queue and our session started in 10 minutes. We queued for half an hour, so when we were at the reception, we asked if we would still have the full time we had paid for, to which the answer was yes. Phew! There were trampolines that were out of use as they were broken. The trampoline was pretty standard. The laser tag room was cool, we went in there twice and had lots of fun. There was a bouncy castle slide and a soft play area. The did have fun, but as we have been to Flip out in Portsmouth before, where the trampoline is a lot better than here, it was slightly disappointing. Good place for the kids, and unlimited slushes is a bonus. I just feel that some areas could be so much more. There is a lot of empty space, especially in the large climbing area. It lacked obstacles. loved it though Do NOT book here for any parties... The whole thing was poorly planned. 30 minutes waiting to be briefed even though we were on time. Hot dogs and pepperoni pizza are no longer an option, even though that is what's been paid for and is still active on the website. (see photo) Pizza was overcooked. The office was made aware that we have a party member who has a disease that requires gluten free food. The office assured us that it will be no problem. Party host said it might have cross contamination and they can't guarantee gluten free. This is OUTRAGEOUS in this day and age, especially considering this was raised beforehand. There wqs no unlimited juice as advertised, only water in the party room. The activity its self was good and the had fun, but management has some answering to do regarding the state of organisation and lack of catering to people who have dietary requirements due to medical conditions. Please go elsewhere for parties. This place has changed a lot over four years. Used to have a massive foam pit, Olympic style white trampolines for the with a high jump into foam pit also. Big kid/adult white trampoline area. Initially I thought it had changed for the worse but my daughter still really enjoys it. Most of our fun is spent jumping off of the big box in the black trampoline area. The "tag" zone is okay. The big bouncy castle is okay. The laser tag only seemed to be open if you have a birthday party on the day. One of the young gents that worked the swore about a kid, service at the cafe was slow as there was one person serving with lots of lattes being ordered. Enjoyed our two hours though Hadn't been for a few years, attended yesterday with our 12 year old and would say the facilities and now aimed more at younger children. Facilities seemed the normal standard for an indoor play environment. Our coffee didn't even taste like coffee. Staff were helpful friendly and efficient. Probably the grubbiest, dirtiest entertainment experience we have ever visited. We called in as we stayed the night in Ashford to break our journey up back from the Netherlands, and booked to allow the to let off some steam. All the Bins over flowing, like the picture, rubbish everywhere. On the floor, all the tables, the stairs. Staff just constantly walking past it. Trampoline part of the complex smells awful. Glad we don't have to come back here One-Star Review: We made a special trip to Flip Out Ashford for the Access All Areas event — my son travelled down from London and was genuinely excited, particularly for the Laser Quest experience. Upon arrival, we were abruptly told that a significant part of the event (including Laser Quest) was unavailable. There had been zero communication in advance to let us know. No email, no text — nothing. Not even the courtesy of an option to reschedule or reconsider our journey. Instead, we were ushered in as if everything was fine. When I raised the issue and requested a refund, I was initially flatly refused by customer service. It took insisting on my consumer rights and having them escalate the issue to head office before any progress was made. This is not how paying customers should be treated. To top it off, the venue is in the middle of an industrial estate with a pungent smell that made the entire experience even more unpleasant. Totally avoidable disappointment. Lack of communication, poor customer care, and an environment that simply didn’t deliver what was promised. One star. Seriously guys bring the foam pit back, also the workers don’t care about anything. Just stop focusing on the trampolines and focus on making it a better experience for both children and adults.
