Tony was such an attentive and safe driver, he was cut off multiple times by jerks on the highway but he kept his cool and drove smoothly. The itself was well paced, we felt like we had the appropriate amount of at each stop. The lunch at Bath was surprisingly good, I usually assume the food on these tours would be meh but the Chicken and Leek Pie was really flavorful with a flakey crust. Really delicious! Bath itself was really fun to walk around, it was a charming little town. The Inner Circle at Stonehenge was absolutely breathtaking, it was truly amazing to see the stones up close. Pauly shared interesting info and was a lot more proactive and engaging than the actual English Heritage provided by the Stonehenge visitor center. All in all, we had such a on this tour. He gave us his expectations for the and what we would need to do in order to meet those from the beginning. He let us know what would happen if we did not meet the expectations and why there were rules in place. I did a day to some palace, Stonehenge, and Bath. You can choose whether you buy tickets ahead or not, which almost everyone buys, but I chose not to. I had no interest in paying the royals to see land that belongs to the English people, so I was happily able to skip paying for that. He didn't make it a big deal and let me know where I could go as alternatives around the area. Stonehenge has significantly changed over the year, but Bruce did let everyone know the changes, so I was prepared for a bit of disappointment. Bath was gorgeous as well, and I chose not to go in the baths after he told us about the smell. Overall, the was an excellent sampler of the English countryside/towns, Bath, and Neolithic Britain. I was comfortable going off on my own and finding my way back based on instructions he gave. I would absolutely go on a with Bruce again. His driver, Armando, was always on time, easy to find, and polite. He and Bruce was a clear team. We took the whole day to Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor Castle. Bruce the was funny, helpful and full of information bites. I never knew that the words pothole and honeymoon had such strange origins. Stonehenge was ticked off my wife's bucket list, our son took far too many pictures of the Roman baths and we wish we had some more at Windsor Castle, so amazing were the rich rooms. We did a Christmas Lights around London and we enjoyed it quite a bit. We were riding a double decker bus, part of the upper floor had no roof and thus an excellent if slightly chilly view. I also quite liked our - she explained everything there was to see in a calm and comprehensive way and you got a feeling how much she liked the city. I arrived at the bus meeting point at Victoria Station for a one-day in the morning.The was visiting Shakespeare's birthplace in the morning and Bourton-on-the-Water in the afternoon. Our was Amanda and our was Alex. Luckily, there was no traffic and the journey was smooth. We stopped at a rest stop midway for a restroom break. Xavier is an amazing guide!!! This was fantastic and Mohammed is a friendly I also must mention. The Christmas Light was the best thing we participated in over our 3 day stay in the city. Xavier was incredibly knowledgeable and full of “dad jokes” the commentary was well timed and scripted on the go to adapt to the change of situation. So 10/10 for this and thoroughly recommended this and his if you’re lucky enough to get him. Also the 2 lady carol singers at the pick up point were also fantastic and had voices. It was me taking three elders adventuring London so I thought not a bad idea to book a for Stonehenge and Bath as these two places are too far to travel. Meet up place was easy to find and our Danxia was very welcoming and accommodating! It was supposed to be an English but she still explained things in Chinese so my elders could understand and fully participate! We felt being taken cared of although we sat all the way at the back. Our bus Zan was also speedy but sturdy and it took shorter for us to reach Stonehenge AND back to London. We were happy we would get home earlier than planned for more rest after we have been touring for DAYS. So just know what you are signing up for. People who can’t get back to the bus in time, will be left. That is not the guide’s or driver’s fault. And I appreciate them following their company’s orders to leave because if they waited, the other 26 of us would not have had enough at the next place. And this is a common practice for any company. As we stayed in Hyde park we were able to get the bus right in front of our hotel. I rode all three routes blue, red and orange. The maps will take you everywhere that you may want to visit around central London. All drivers except one gentleman was super nice so I simply avoided getting in to his bus the next day. Other all drivers and bus keepers at halts were super nice. They made my drives feel safe informational and kind. Following a couple of false starts, the Blue Route was a great, we were fortunate to have a really excellent guide, both informative & hilarious. The sun shone & London looked glorious. But… we had difficulty in finding the right bus stops. We re-traced our steps several times across Hyde Park Corner & even wasted an hour on the Orange Route hoping to link with Blue. We think that some of the stop numbering is out of sync with the on-line maps? Could you not have a much bigger number on the stop? It would save traipsing around having to get close up in order to check the number. All in all, a good day out. We did Simply Stonehenge on March 18, 2025 with Chris as our driver. He was superb. Chris is very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge along the way which made the whole experience more enjoyable. Bruce was a on the Golden Tours led of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath. He was very knowledgeable about the main sites on the tour, as well as many smaller sites on the way. He had a sense of humor, and along with our driver, he was very efficient in getting us to each of our stops on time. Good tour! (Bruce) and (Derek). Very knowledgeable, funny and good food suggestions. felt a bit rushed (not due to guide) but due to long distance travelling (about an hour to 1.5hrs to each destination and 2.5 hrs coming back from Bath!)
