One of the Best Places To Visits in Huben Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very nice hike. Free and not too strenuous, not too easy. Doable with normal city shoes and by people with an average stamina, or a little below average with rest stops of which there are many. Lovely views, lovely little waterfalls. Well maintained. Takes about an hour to get to the very good restaurant where you can have a drink or a bite. The 13 Sagas told along the way, and illustrated with sculpture art, are recounted on panels, but only in German. Parking at the base but limited, so if you're in Huben just walk here and back. We had a lot of snow, that is why we could not go far. Very nice walking path with interesting sculptures based on local sages and myths. Descriptions are in German only so being able to read German is very helpful. After many years visiting Oetztal valley I finally found a way to see the Oetztaler Sagenweg. I was really surprised how beautiful it is, the trail is easy, suitable for everyone, very well maintained. The statues are fantastic! The only thing I would suggest to add: the translation to english language. I took the shot of all of the descriptions and I got it translated but to have it right there would be very nice .. thank you :-) An interesting albeit short hiking route from Huben to the Feuerstein chapel with a few fine sculptures related to local legends along the way. Perfect choice for a short walk. One of the best walks. Very nice! Beautiful path the forest, great views and beautiful art works with local tales Really nice hike with a great view. Every statue has its own story (unfortunately it's only written in German). The visit is totally free. There is a parking space at the beginning of the trail next to the football field.
