A lovely restaurant with a surprisingly large menu in a charmingly small village. If you don’t read or speak any German, it’s helpful to translate the menu ahead of time (menu is available on their website). Our food was hearty, delicious, and an excellent taste of the local cuisine. One of us had the soup with a large bacon dumpling to start, followed by a huge portion of schnitzel, salad, and fries. The other had the Camembert with cranberries and salad to start, followed by another huge schnitzel with mushrooms and cream sauce, plus a generous helping of spaetzle. Yum yum yum! A perfect meal to follow a long day of hiking through the beautiful trails of the Lechtal Valley. Our server was friendly and welcoming, even though we could say little more than hello and thank you. An amazing find to have this full service restaurant in a town that doesn’t even have a convenience store. Highly recommend you check it out!
