Kvam Motel & Camping

Kvam, Norway RV park

One of the Best Places To Visits in Kvam Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Good location on the lake. Sadly facilities were a little neglected, bins not emptied, floors not swept just felt a little unloved. 20 NOKs for a shower on top of 400 for a campervan plus electric. Quite, nice looking, near lake and E6 road Camp reception is open until 23:00 which is pretty nice. Clean bathrooms with toilets, kitchen, showers (paid extra) Overall recommend Ok for 1 night. Would not stay here longer. Not very spacy or cosy. Only 2 showers for the hole ground and these where slightly expansive. Eventhough YouTube will getriebeöl a nice view over the lake. But beware of the pizza-catch: 190NOK for a continental/frozen pizza! #%*^!?! If you're in a camper like we were, then do NOT go here unless you're happy standing on a terrace that looks out over the lake but very much more looks out on the backsides of three residential caravans blocking some 30% of your view. Those three caravans have probably the best pitches+views of this campsite, but at the expence of every single one-night-stand camper right behind them. Weird how camping owners apparently don't care about passers-by who, on a yearly basis and all of them added up, probably bring in WAY more money than three lousy caravans. Having found out the above by walking around first before going into the reception and paying up, we were indeed very happy to still be able to turn around and drive by. It's very nice there it's a playground and a place too swim the water is a bit cold tho Nice view and spot, though if you rent a 4 person room you get a awkward room that gives you a 1,5 bed for 2 and on top of that is another spot for some one and in the living room there’s a sofa that you can transform to a bed. Really quiet and calming area and lovely shower accommodations Kvam is a small beautiful village and we received good cabin, The reception was also good and shared relevant information. Cabin was okay as per price and bed was also okay. It was not too clean as we found old spider webs and insects at windows of cabin. Lot of mosquito as it is near to water. Remember to buy mosquito net to put on windows in summer as it can be quite warm and windows are to be opened. Surrounding area is quite and good to see. The shower was to be paid if you want hot water which was a surprise for us as it is not very common in cabins.
